@Rossum, how difficult is it to cut Ti wire? Do you need special (stronger) tools?
And BTW, is grade 1 Ti the most suitable type for coils?
Thanks
I haven't had any issues cutting it and I certainly haven't bought any special tools.

Grade 1 is what you want, yes. It's the softest and most ductile of the commercially pure grades.

Finished 2 DNA40 mods using the boards from the co-op.

It's actually Grey. The charging board was bad so I had to re-do it and it got messy. I might throw in a large screen DNA40 in there at a later date.

KTM,

If that puppy is working I would put the cover back on and never go inside again unless it goes belly-up.

It works perfectly :p

I might replace it with a large screen later.

Your a glutton for punishment KTM. Unless that mod box is built like "Dr Who's" Tardis i.e. bigger on the inside than the outside you may suffer a nervous breakdown trying to get five pounds in a 1 pound box :p

It is tight in there but not all that bad. Having the right tools helps a lot. I got 4 DNA40 boards and that was the first one I did and just wanted it done so I wasn't as detail oriented with it (wires should've been cut to length). The large screen was time consuming but now that I've done one in a larger box, I don't see it being that hard to do it in the mini. That would free up a small screen for my Cloupor Mini.

I should get a Tardis skin for the mini :D

I was a little concerned that you wouldn't pickup on the "Tardis" analogy. :thumb:

Pocket fired my Flask/KF4 yesterday while driving. (Door pocket, not pants pocket) Temp was set at 440 and it was too hot to touch by the time I discovered what was happening. After I let it cool for while it vaped just fine. The flavor was off, not burnt, just off. But that only lasted for a couple of hits, then it was back to normal. Love this TC stuff.

BNEAT,

I tell ya I am as careful as I can be with my flask. The buttons on mine have a hair trigger and with no easily accessible lock while driving I get absolutely paranoid putting it in the cup holder and the thought of putting it in my pocket is just not even close to the table much less on it.

Hmm just trying out a couple Titanium coils (50ft. .5mm from Amazon))... just like old sub ohms days; 24g wire, 6 (to 8) wraps... nice warm voluminous vape at well under 400F.

Wow... just got my RMA'ed VSrDNA40 back from VS.
Looks like a brand new unit with a new LG batt. too. I'm impressed.

And frankly so far all 3 units in TP with Ti wire, for the last hour, is a whole new level of TP vaping.
Just more of everything; vapor and flavor.

Oh yeah, you have to understand, I've only been using single wire Ni200 30g all along... heheh
