If anyone is interested, I've just made another spreadsheet.
It allows you to enter the coil data and reports the resistance for each wire size and the length of wire used. It works for kanthal, nichrome, ni200 and copper. It will allow you to enter data in mm, cm, m or inches and it will report its data in any of those units. It works for single or dual coils, (or any other number for that matter.) It handles compressed or spaced coils.
As a bonus it will also allow you to work out which European stranded wire you need to use to connect up a DNA40, which specifies it in AWG.

There are no macros used. XLS is generally an unsafe format to accept files from strangers, but for spreadsheets there is no good alternative. To mitigate the worry a little, here are two examples in PDF.
