Hmm just trying out a couple Titanium coils (50ft. .5mm from Amazon))... just like old sub ohms days; 24g wire, 6 (to 8) wraps... nice warm voluminous vape at well under 400F.

And frankly so far all 3 units in TP with Ti wire, for the last hour, is a whole new level of TP vaping.
Just more of everything; vapor and flavor.

So are the votes going to titanium wire? There's a thread about dioxide being very real and very harmful. If it gets to that certain temp that is.
You have to get it glowing rather brightly before there's any oxide formation. Needless to say, that's not gonna happen with a coil that's kept wet by juice and further protected by temperature limiting. In fact, if you're using cellulose as wicking, your wick would catch fire first, which I expect would be rather noticeable. ;)

I apologize if this has been hashed out already (I'm not reading 520 pages, lol)...

My new-to-me Hana V4d never issues the up/down prompt for new/same coil. I only have one atty built with nickel but I thought the mod should prompt whenever an atty has been removed and re-attached. I've refilled the juice in my Ni200 equipped Squape R several times since owning the mod and not once has it ever prompted me to specify new or old atty.

And, yes, it is in TP mode. Thoughts?

It's only going to ask when it can't determine by it's self, it's normal enough.

For many of us that is not an upgrade, it is just 20 more watts we'll never use.
I don't expect to see Evolv get into the watts race.
I'm with you on that. Somewhere around 40-50 watts is pretty much the limit for a single 18650 battery anyway. Beyond that, you need duals, making for an ungainly large mod. Give us a DNA50 with calibrations for both nickel and titanium and I'll be happy. Make the low-cost version the DNA35. ;)

Historically Evolv models are proactive rather than reactive.
Historically Evolv's new models offer ground breaking tech, they are responsible for both variable wattage and temperature limiting.
yihi not so much.

Dont forget to add (intentional or unintentional) lazyness imo.

I dont mind who invented those groundbreaking TC tech cause it's in the past right now and I'm not a historian.

I wasnt tryin to troll the thread I'm also a fan of dna board, still trying to get new ones

but would be so kool If they would counter some new designs

before it's too late

You are a historian to some degree at least.
Your Mom probably warned you that (historically) touching a hot stove causes a painful burn.
Perhaps you ignored her sage advice and learned this on your own, either way you learned and remember (history) not to touch hot stoves.
History is a record of how people and organizations behave or misbehave.
I suggest if you know and understand history your chances of being a victim are greatly reduced.
I suggest you pay attention to history "before it's too late".

Cheers

Protovapor has the Evolv DNA 25D for $36.00 including shipping. Might have to do that instead of waiting on a co-op to get off the ground. DNA 40 large is $60.00 shipped, small is $56.00 shipped.

G, I have another diy projects going on in these days,
so I'm not in a hurry. The co-op timing is actually very good to me.
Thank you for letting me know

It's tech history right, goes a lot faster.

I wasnt talking about the general history, I mean that resumee just for the wikipedia, not me.

Volvo invented seat belt and today nodoby buy it *just* for the seat belt,

Go and worship the nokia for the groundbreaking cell phones they made in the past

:D
