I liked the show though. I have no idea as to where it is. If I remember right my parents years and years ago went to where the Ponderosa was.

Years ago there used to be a Ponderosa roadside attraction on the way to Tahoe. Supposedly it was where they filmed exteriors. It was pretty lame (plastic horses, left over props from the TV show, a pony ride), but it was there for a long time. Periodically there have been rumors about it opening again, but I fear it would pointless, since only very small children liked it and they've never heard of Bonanza.

ETA; 'nuf said.

Nuh unh........Sir Rod makes it a practice to never ask anyone to help him move, in return for never helping anyone move stuff. It's worked well for me. Yes it has!

So this is the Official P3 Thread Part 2 :?: Where do you guys keep the bacon at

Well I've had the P3 upgrade now for a couple of weeks and I am pretty happy that my P3 has made it's way into my rotation using a Atlantis.
My vape that I seem to like the most is a .5 ohm coil between 27 and 30 watts. I been using a juice called Cinndrix (from Karmic Vapor) in my P3 it's pretty much like cinnamon toast crunch cereal with Milk.:thumb:
The reason I mention this is that to me, it's a juice that I can still enjoy with a .5 ohm coil at 20 watts, I think it's the cinnamon taste. But I would much rather my P3 would just go to 30 watts

Which gets me to my question, Is the main reason Provape won't take the P3 up to or over 30 watts have to do with the 18350 battery being unstable using low ohm coils?
Now I have read it was before but I never officially ask this myself.

I am not a big fan of the 18350 battery, in fact the only good thing for me about them is the size.
I found in my style of vaping,
The charge don't last long enough, I go through three 18350's to every one 18650.
The drop in cycle life of my 18350's seems to happen twice as fast as my 18650's too. :grr:
And all of that was before I even started using subohm tanks at 30 watts.
I did try to use 18350's the first day I got the upgrade and I got tired of having to change batteries so much that I put my P3 in 18650 mode and that's where it has stayed.

But like so many others, I do like my P3 in Mini mode :(

So that brings me to my next question, If the 18350 battery is unstable, will Provape phase out the P3 using 18350's in the future?
With today's technology, I can't see it being to hard to make a mini size P3 that would take a 18650 battery :)

Our Bacon comes in plastic sleeves with cotton! A lot of people like and don't like 18350 batteries. It really depends on your vaping style (sub-ohm vs non-sub-ohm). It would certainly make sense that using .5 ohm coils on a Provari is a major challenge to a 18350 battery. As to what Provape plans for future products, no one here would know and if they did, they would not be permitted to discuss them. I would be surprised if they eliminated the 18350 option as you will likely find as many people who prefer it to not preferring it. The 18350 battery isn't unstable. It's just not appropriate (very long) for sub-ohming.

Welcome to the Thread Part 2!

Anyone have a suggestion for an RTA? I currently have the subtank mini. I have been looking at the Russian but I don't think I could really do any cloud chasing with that. I want something with good airflow but also something with the build quality of the Russian. My subtank leaks somewhat frequently. Any input appreciated.

Edit: I also want a simple build deck like the Russian or kayfun. Looked at the goblin v2 and that looked like a winner until I saw the build deck. Looked confusing.

So you want a tank for chasing clouds? Do I have that right?

Well, I can tell you Bronze is right. I got home, got my Xtar VP2, opened her up, took the plastic off the display, set it for 3.6 volts on the back and slowest charge on the front and popped a couple fully charged 18490 1200mah batteries. They weren't as fully charged as I thought they should be. I'm going to run one of them in my P3 tomorrow and see if this charger makes a difference from the Intellicharger. I'm just giddy with pent up excitement over the new charger. Yippee!

Nice write-up. Think we can get Mr. Spinner to make us an RTA that has never been done before?

I kind 'a doubt it. Unless of course if he vapes, which I have no knowledge of as I don't actually know him. But I'd bet he's perfectly capable of building one. Yes I would.

Hi Chief! I wouldn't call the 18350 unstable, it's just not designed for the low-res/high vaping that is the current fad. Accordingly, the device has options for different size battery. If that's still not enough power for someone, they can get another device to augment their collection.
I don't see ProVape phasing out the 18350 mode, since it's a popular size for many ProVari customers. If anything, I could see them phasing out the full size.
Hmmm... I had to reread that a couple of times. It appears they only need to add rings. I just took a 2.5 mini, screwed on the 18490 P3 ring and added the 2.5 extension cap. It looks mismatched (I used a black ext. cap), but is vaping just fine with an 18650 battery. I'm going to have to look for my satin silver ext. cap.

I guess I failed at what I am getting at :(
When I started vaping Provari was arguably one of the best on the market.
When I left home last year to travel there was one vape shop in driving range of my house, came back 9 months later and there is over a half dozen.
When I go to these new shops and I pull out my P3, pretty much all of the people at these shops never heard of Provari
The first remark is usually about the size, my P3 in 18650 mode with a Atlantis with extended tank is 7 3/4" long.
As soon as I mention $200 for a 20 watt device they start laughing :(
I try to fight the good fight and argue quality and made in the USA but most people don't want to hear it
I think that most the people that bought a P3 already owned and was a fan of the ProVari.

Here is what people throw in my face
The Vapor Shark 40 watt with no warranty cost $104
The MVP 20 watt cost around $35
The disposable iStick 30 watt cost around $30 and $50 for 50 watts.
The Kanger KBOX 40 watts sales for as low as $15.99 at 101 vape :?:

Three things these all have in common is,
1 they are all small
2 they are all Box mods
and 3 they are all NOT a Provari :glare:

I believe this is not a fad and the market for small and powerful is there.
And as far as I seen, no one is making them in a Tube mod ;)
Just my opinion  but, I believe that If Provape would come out with a 40 watt mini with a good battery it would at least double in sales in the first 6 months then that the P3 did in it's first year :pervy:
The market is only getting bigger and I would like to see Provape stay as not only one of the best on the market but one of the most well known. :thumb:
