There are still lots of provaris out there in shops. You just have to search more and won't find too many deals under MSRP.
My local DFW Vapor has alot of them in the shop! I think I am the only person in McKinney who has ever bought one there. I picked up a purple and white hybrid and an Emerald Green. They still have some unique ones in the show case such as the pink matted and blue and green hybrid! They have some on their web site too!

Just did and it says half the materials they used for their devices were made in China.

This is a tough thing to argue against. I know every possible part that can be or is US made is used. Iirc over 80% of the components are USA made and its only a few of the electronic components that aren't. I know the ARM chip itself, the button and the capacitor are made in Japan. The rest I'm not sure of.

Still IMO if over 70% is made here I think that claim of USA made is valid.

I'm not sure about Dicodes, I will email them and ask. There website is up and running unlike provape. If it's the same facts as Provaris then no it is not made in Germany

it's like saying Cars are not made in the USA because some of the machinery is German and some of the parts are from Mexico

These ProVari hats are even made in the USA

WOW I'm shocked. Provape closed. Obvious I haven't been on here much. I received a email from ECF saying Provape was closing. I thought there might be stock left and after going to Provape and following link Provari fuel I see there are no bargains. Life goes on and I;m sorry Provape had to close it's doors. Any suggestions on 40 watt mods which are of quality?
Dicodes; moved there a year+ ago.
2nd best after that: Yihi, the SX mini mini mini's mini (i've lost track of how many mini's are in their current name), are pretty good. Dicodes = you can adjust everything with the mod itself. Yihi, not so much, need computer. Yihi's latest thing is bluetooth iPhone & Android app configs, but with Apple kicking all vape-related apps out of their app store, we'll see how well that works out in the future.
Dicodes = basically what ProVape would hopefully have released a year+ from now. They're really excellent, and if you happen to like tube mods, they have the smallest regulated tubes on Earth :)

Dicodes Dani box(60w)/Dani6, far better quality than provape, many more options and better customer service. Made in Germany.
Provape's devices were made in china and assembled in USA, they would exaggerate their claims of being made in USA.
Dicodes chipset is better than the last iteration ProVape kicked out the door. Their TC (or temp guessing, or coil control, or whatever you want to call it) actually works, and has been stable and solid for a long time. Dicodes has a far more granular level of configurability and control.

It's very nice.

Having had experiences with both ProVape and Dicodes customer service, I'm not sure how you'd quantify "better" ...?

ProVape's customer service (in my own experience): exceptional. They always went above and beyond to resolve any issue I ever had. Ostensibly a 1yr warranty, but I've had them fix 5 year old mods for free.
Dicodes customer service (in my own experience): exceptional. They always went above and beyond to resolve any issue I ever had. 2yr warranty.

The thing is, a repair at ProVape used to cost $5 and take 1 week round-trip. Sending your mod back to Germany from the states will take 6-8 weeks and cost $45 or $180 if you want to pay DHL for 2 day service. If this is your only device, then you're going to have a significant problem if it ever needs service.

Just my opinions. Cheers.

Edit: oh wow, from the time I started this msg on a computer, til I finished posting it from my phone, this thread has kinda, sorta, devolved just a bit, and I wouldn't have bothered :-( ProVape's devices were not made in China. Some components are only available from China, this is true, but it's true of every piece of technology, including I'm sure Dicodes. I don't understand the point of dissing a device that's no longer even made, on the forum that the maker of the device is paying for. Seems, kinda pointless.

Dicodes and Yihi are using more energy then needed as they go from DC to AC and back do DC, unlike DNA which goes directly DC to DC. That means that they spend battery faster. And Yihi has a lot oscilations and non-precise pulsing.

If I need to choose between all mods other then Provaris, it would be good DNA... good is crucial as there's big difference between just placing the board in box and make one with fine tuning and customization. And also, way of making it, soldering, type of components make a difference between great, good and bad mod with same board.

But, there's one more which is for me THE BEST but for some people huge minus would be it's capacity which is 14500 and it's VIR board which is in GG Proteus. That board is a beast which kills all mentioned.

It's my opinion that Dicodes has better customer service than provape had. Dicodes-usa.com ships out of California, Dicodes actually expanded their operations instead of closing up shop.
Which brings me to my next point. The FDA regulations had nothing to do with Provape closing, it was all about their refusal to adapt to the changing marketplace, they became the vaping worlds Blackberry.
I bet that "Bill"(what's left of Provape) will not even honor most of the warranties. In fact , whoever sends in their devices for repair "Bill" will request the email receipt. Most people don't even have them and since Provape closed down their website no one will be able to access their purchase history accounts from provape.com. That is why what Provape did is cowardly and unethical, they closed up shop, misled their loyal customers, falsely claimed their devices were made in USA, and dumped their "warranties" on someone named "bill".

Are you just hater or you're paid for this? You don't like Provaris? That's ok. Move away from this treads.

Mods should pay attention on this person as it's obvious from all it's posts that it's sole intention is to start an argument. Not to mention it constantly making false claims.

There's a job waiting for you at Fox New. They're all about "Alternative Facts." And the link you showed about where Provari's are made, leads one to note you also have a reading comprehension issue. Not sure what your purpose is being here?
