Uh - that'd be a "no." Google Clapton coils, RB. I'm absolutely certain you can build them!

Uh, aint 'a gonna' happen..........

So, I'm cleaning out the collection today as I got a nice new (to me) box from a quaint little curio shop in Martinsburg, WV (what it was originally designed for, I have no clue, but it looked very cool...). While digging through and deciding what will go where, I come across my Diver V2 and couple of IBTanks. (Those of you with as much mileage as I have may remember the days of carto tanks and the associated fun that went with them.) On a whim, I rebuilt the Diver (mainly just to see if I remembered how) and then decided to mount it up and vape on it.

Seems that I had managed to forget just how nice a vape comes from that little sucker, even if the draw is pretty tight. It's going to stay a while longer, again... :D

I was looking at the Diver about a year ago (still using carto tanks here), but the builds looked difficult. All the tutorials I was finding showed that you had to use non-resistance wire attached to resistance wire, and that just seemed to be way too much of a hassle to me. Has that changed, or are there other carto-style attys that fit into tanks that are easier to build?

Yes, I know, I should just get a KFL and be done with it! :D

Oh Gawd......perish the thought! Are quad Clapton coils related to Eric Clapton?

They're made from the strings his used to record his 70's albums.

I prefer Axis: Bold As Love coils.

They do still require the NR-R-NR wires. At that point (having both the Diver and an Ithaka) I built a wire joiner which works superbly, though you can also buy the wires pre-made.
