Write for a living...uh, no. I've always written, but the pay for articles now is just about the same as it was in the early '80s. I write to entertain myself.

There was a time when I had pretty steady work as a freelancer, but the money wasn't enough to balance out how it screwed up my taxes.

I know what you mean. I had an article about a high end watch I bought published in a high end national watch magazine last summer. I got nuttin for it, other than the satisfaction that I was published in a high end watch magazine. That and a nickel won't get me a cup of coffee at Starbucks. No it won't. I'd be happy to post the article if anyone's interested.

Sounds like you do. I tend to write about things that interest me with lots of inside jokes that only people with the same interest understand. Non-vapers might find the eVic piece funny, as a comment on the blatant sexual images, but they wouldn't get much else.

Maybe. Who are you thinking of?

I just thought you lived by The biggest little city in the world. I was just looking for a barn to sleep in close to Reno. Didn't know you had goats in it though. Do you own the Ponderosa?

Agreed...

But, To close this up.

I offered to buy 20 Bucks worth of stuff, and I would pay only pay 10 Bucks for the update. So, The P3 Beta will be getting the update, and the P3 Ti will not.

We'll see how it goes...

That was like a virtual trip to the the vape shop, which is why I don't go to the vape shop.

Ponderosa? Silly, silly. If you lived anywhere near Washoe County you would know how ridiculous the map of the Ponderosa ranch is.

So this is the Official P3 Thread Part 2 :?: Where do you guys keep the bacon at

Well I've had the P3 upgrade now for a couple of weeks and I am pretty happy that my P3 has made it's way into my rotation using a Atlantis.
My vape that I seem to like the most is a .5 ohm coil between 27 and 30 watts. I been using a juice called Cinndrix (from Karmic Vapor) in my P3 it's pretty much like cinnamon toast crunch cereal with Milk.:thumb:
The reason I mention this is that to me, it's a juice that I can still enjoy with a .5 ohm coil at 20 watts, I think it's the cinnamon taste. But I would much rather my P3 would just go to 30 watts

Which gets me to my question, Is the main reason Provape won't take the P3 up to or over 30 watts have to do with the 18350 battery being unstable using low ohm coils?
Now I have read it was before but I never officially ask this myself.

I am not a big fan of the 18350 battery, in fact the only good thing for me about them is the size.
I found in my style of vaping,
The charge don't last long enough, I go through three 18350's to every one 18650.
The drop in cycle life of my 18350's seems to happen twice as fast as my 18650's too. :grr:
And all of that was before I even started using subohm tanks at 30 watts.
I did try to use 18350's the first day I got the upgrade and I got tired of having to change batteries so much that I put my P3 in 18650 mode and that's where it has stayed.

But like so many others, I do like my P3 in Mini mode :(

So that brings me to my next question, If the 18350 battery is unstable, will Provape phase out the P3 using 18350's in the future?
With today's technology, I can't see it being to hard to make a mini size P3 that would take a 18650 battery :)

I liked the show though. I have no idea as to where it is. If I remember right my parents years and years ago went to where the Ponderosa was.

A few people have been lobbying for an 18650 only P3.

I wouldn't be interested personally, but we might get something like this in the future imo.
Would you be interested if it took 18650's but was the same size as the mini?

Anyone have a suggestion for an RTA? I currently have the subtank mini. I have been looking at the Russian but I don't think I could really do any cloud chasing with that. I want something with good airflow but also something with the build quality of the Russian. My subtank leaks somewhat frequently. Any input appreciated.

Edit: I also want a simple build deck like the Russian or kayfun. Looked at the goblin v2 and that looked like a winner until I saw the build deck. Looked confusing.

Well the night shift should be taking over soon. I will say RB must have the best job on the planet. He goes to work and posts on ECF all day long. I can't wait to have to go through 5 or 6 pages of posts in the morning. Bronze didn't post much today as he sat in front of his charger and watched it for 4 hours. Bronze if you are excited for 4 hours or more please call 911 immediately.

Hi Chief! I wouldn't call the 18350 unstable, it's just not designed for the low-res/high vaping that is the current fad. Accordingly, the device has options for different sized batteries. If that's still not enough power for someone, they can get another device to augment their collection.

I don't see ProVape phasing out the 18350 mode, since it's a popular size for many ProVari customers. If anything, I could see them phasing out the full size.

With today's technology, I can't see it being to hard to make a mini size P3 that would take a 18650 battery :)

Hmmm... I had to reread that a couple of times. It appears they only need to add rings. I just took a 2.5 mini, screwed on the 18490 P3 ring and added the 2.5 extension cap. It looks mismatched (I used a black ext. cap), but is vaping just fine with an 18650 battery. I'm going to have to look for my satin silver ext. cap.

So you are lobbying for a box mod?
No, not really, leaning more towards a smaller chip.
Seeing things like these new smart watches that can make calls, send emails, text and take pictures, I believe they can make a smaller chip to make more room in the mini for a 18650 battery :)
