Yes! I want to, just don't know how to get started with my Vulcan. I've watched some videos online but not sure what gauge, number of wraps, how much Cotten, etc for my application. Micro coils or not, seems like lots to absorb. I thought if I watched someone do the build on my atty I would learn a lot.
Vape 360:
I know Provape sells the No-Ox lubricant. I have NoAlox by Ideal that I have used on all my mods, including my beautiful chrome Provari v1 which has to be at least 3+ years old (upgraded to v2 and still going strong). Before I try it on the P3, I'd like your take on it...[/
We have gotten away from Noalox and using no-ox. Noalox will dry out and cause a worse connection.
Does Provape recommend any lubricant, or is just keeping the threads 'uber' clean all that is necessary?

This will get you started on wire gauge, coil form diameter, number of wraps and resistance. Then it is practice, practice, practice. Rayon makes a good easy wick material. It will come to you far faster than you imagine and you will be pleased with your results. Youtube has several decent videos on getting started. At seventy with all the deterioration that comes with seventy mis-spent years, I got it down, you can.
If you want to PM, I can send you a starting supply of rayon and wire to see if you want to give it a shot without buying a bunch of stuff that you may end up hating to use.
Wow, great link! thanks so much!
So what resistance would you recommend to start out for my Vulcan/P3 for dripping juice samples? single coil or dual coil? Gauge?
Again, thanks for the help!
I'd start with single coil. Once you get that down then start monkeying with dual coil.
Ok, I'm going to try a 1.4 ohm 28 gauge coil for my Vulcan and P3!
That's some serious battery times, on my erl @ 1.5, I'd change batteries (350s) 3X just at work. 18650, my wife and I can run all day, on either device 2.5 or 3. Just got my extensions for my 2.5 when my P3B came back. Ran it all day today, since 9:30 this morning, pulled the battery, threw it in the P3B, still at 51% at just over 12 hours of vaping.... Love my 18650s. Actually just ordered 2 new aw 18650s from rtd today. [emoji6]Quite honestly, I'm getting anywhere from 1-1.5 days of regular usage in 18350 mode.
On my v2.5 I was getting that performance in 18490 mode, so my P3 experience has been on the "long battery life" side...although plenty of people have been reporting that the P3 is a battery eater...
I consistently vape on 1.8 ohm coils in my Kayfun(s)...I vape them at 10 watts...
Soooooo...I don't know what kind of set-up you're planning on using, but there's my two cents! Good luck! You'll enjoy no matter what! The P3 is amazing.
I don't have any 500s, except for some old efest laying around that I refuse to put in my beloved Provaris, they deserve better. LOL
I may have to order a couple of the aw, just to try them out. If I don't like them maybe the wife will.![]()
