41 IQ  Battery reads 92% though in that screen

Yeah. Both Busardo and Todd complained that their battery showed it was low or empty and they'd pull it out and put it back in and the meter would show 40 - 50%. Not sure why that happens. And with a 41 IQ that tells me somthing is amiss with yor battery connection or the battery iteself. That you notice a much shorter life with this battery (versus what you were getting with your old Provari) tells me there is some kind of connection problem. It's dirty, or the spring needs adjustment or something similar. Shouldn't be dirty being that new. Other than adjusting the spring I don't know what to suggest. This P3 is so new so there is no history to lean on. I think this is one that Vape360 is gonna have to address.

Are you out there somewhere vape 360?

Told ya I shoulda been a beta tester    IF there is a problem, I am sure to find it!

I will try stretching the spring.

God, I hope I don't end up breaking it

The battery state of charge you see on the main screen isn't the IQ. That's at the very end of the A up or A down menu selection and deals with battery health (and device resistance), not state of charge from what I'm seeing.

Regarding the battery meter… when I pull them out at 50%, they're around 3.65V. To me, that's little deeper than 50% discharge, but then I have yet to measure the voltage when I pull one at out at 0%, nor do I know what voltage ProVape considers 0%. From what I'm reading about the circuitry, that may be dependent on power setting since voltage under load will be lower than at rest. I think the battery meter is pretty accurate--it doesn't just measure voltage.

Must be some light vapers in here, LOL. I took a 1600 mAH to 0 right about 3 hours ago and am into another one about 10% so far tonight. The charger is telling me it was deeply discharged.

But IQ will drop when you vape, so if you vaped a bit in that 5 minutes you can expect IQ to drop some. How, I don't know.

Do you clean the contacts on your batteries? That can make a difference too.

I generally try to keep them clean. I will take it out and wipe them down and see what happens.

7:17pm IQ is down to 71 *sigh*

I'm thinking your batteries are fine Robin (I know you do too). I think there is some kind of connection issue and is why your IQ is not in that 90+ range. At this time, the only problems discussed about bad battery connection is the connection points are dirty or the spring needs adjusting, or the battery is just old. Don't know how your P3 can be dirty yet. The batteries seem to work fine in your old Provaris. That leaves the spring. But let's see what Vape360 says. Are the ends of your batteries clean?

Bronze, I just took some alcohol to them. They looked very clean before wiping them down. I generally try to keep them clean. You know me. I am very detail oriented ;) I even wipe down the contact points on the charger from time to time to keep that clean.

I know Ms.Robin...I know you very well. I'm certain you keep all your stuff very clean.

Try this...use the bottom cap from one of your old Provaris and screw it onto your P3 and see how your IQ is behaving. I'm not suggesting this is a solution, but it can give us some insight to your P3 bottom cap.

This is entertaining..... ;) I never even checked the IQ until recently, I don't use it, I'll occasionally check it now just to entertain myself, but I don't sweat it, if it's vaping fine, why worry about it? It's a Provari, if there is a REAL problem, it won't vape.

I didn't worry about it till I wasn't getting the results of how long a battery lasts like I do with the other Provari I own.
:( That's what brought all this about. I hadn't even checked or even knew how to check the IQ LOL

Robin have you cleaned the P3 threads yet? I know they shouldn't get dirty that fast, but we all live in different environments. I have to wipe down my threads about once a week.

Should I wipe them down with alcohol?

I will give that a try... now gotta dig out an old end cap and make sure that is clean LOL
