We will likely have a 7 foot snow fall in Tampa before I buy a polished Provari. Sir Rod, Master of Lube does not handle finger prints or scratches very well. No he doesn't!

The only ProVari I have traded away was a full sized polished. The fingerprint issue was a concern, as was potential scratching (although there wasn't a mark on it), what I couldn't deal with was it being so freaking shiny. It didn't match any of my other gear and reflected every light near it. I didn't appreciate having to move it around to keep from being blinded. It also had a red LED that was intensified by the shine, so looking at the display screen was like staring into the sun. Your vision may vary.

LOLz, Jim

It would be interesting to see what your IQ does with AW 18490 batteries instead of Efest.

FINALLY ! Received five vape mail packages yesterday, including a Silver Satin P3, a Black P2 / Original KFL Combo (acquired in trade), a Black HCigar KFL Lite + V2, a Catfish Veritas (an Ehpro Veritas clone remodeled to Bottom Feed), and got my VV Grand back from a 'Haircut'. and some juice....
Been playing with all three mods the last couple of evenings. Don't understand all of the bells and whistles on the P3 yet, but both ProVari / KFL setups are producing a very smooth, relaxing Vape. Good for Evening Mods.

Welcome to the dark side.

Ping,

Do not be led astray by the duke of earl...

It is really quite simple. Electricity follows the path of least resistance.

By turning the cap, you are cleaning oxidation that has built up. Think path of least resistance again.

Lubrication is just as important here as cleaning. Lubricate the entire diameter of each thread, and your issues will go away.

Here is a pic that most will understand... Electrical Corrosion!

Don't let this happen to your Provi!!!

That's why I was asking about dielectric grease. To see if anyone has ever tried it on Provari.
I know what Provape recommends but I was thinking this may as good an alternative to No-ox which is hard to locate except online or from Provape.

What a haul... Did you knock over Santa?

LOLz, Jim

LMAO  No, I sold two smaller Woodvil and traded an LP/SL Grand. From eight Reos to Five Reos and Two ProVari, plus a couple RBA's. All together I broke even cost wise. But the two smaller Woodvil and the LP/SL just weren't getting used, so move 'em out and try something else, right ?

I think I may have mentioned this previously, but my first P2.5 was Polished. I owned it for all of 15 minutes. I bought it. The vape shop programmed it for me, I put my topper on, got in my car, took a few congratulatory vapes, drove off and at the very first stop light, I noticed finger prints. Horrors. Finger prints on my brand new shiny? This I knew would never work for someone like me who redefines OCD. So I made a u-turn, went back to the vape shop, and exchanged for SS. And I've been happily vaping on SS Provari's ever since. Yes I have!

It shines and looks awesome. Just ask Robin. If she doesn't like hers I'll trade her. Even works for you OCD vapers. For $20.00 I screwed up.

So I still haven't even put a battery into the P3, which I know to some of you is basically blasphemy  but I am now very happy that I waited. Since I am quite sure I will be returning it and buying the Satin Silver Celtic Knot P3
Irish_flag.gif

The only downside is that I will have to pay an extra $25-$30 for it, since I bought mine with the 10% off code on Black Friday. I think it's worth it though, as the main thing I really disliked about the P3 is how plain it looks. Not to mention I am part Irish, so I really like the Celtic design :)

Of course I kind of wish that it wasn't a design I liked, because if it had been anything else I doubt I would even be considering it :(

I think if you can be happier, you should do it!

Congrats
