Went to a B&M yesterday and played with one for a little bit.

I found the menu system to be pretty easy to navigate -- maybe easier than the current system. I always tend to get impatient and overshoot to '--'. The scrolling menus just seemed easier. I think they should hire a designer, though, and get rid of those fonts that look like a software engineer designed them.

I liked the look and heft of it.

The top threading system was pretty neat.

I've been using this mod as my fulltime mod for the last 4 days, I'm doing the tech evaluation for Rose at Vape Town in Hesperia,CA. I have a lot I would love to talk about with the P3, but I'm not sure what is OK to talk about and what I'm not supposed to talk about. Rose was not aware of any NDA concerning this beta version, but I would rather be conservative in my comments until I'm given the go ahead to discuss in full. I tried to PM Vape360, but that account doesn't accept PMs. So I thought I'd reach out here and see if Vape360 can give me a bit of guidance on how I should discuss my thoughts on this mod in an open forum. I'll wait for Provape's blessing before I discuss what I think.

What I can say, in a very general way, is that if you are a Provari owner already this is the best regulated mod I have tested to date and you are going to love it. And if you're not a Provari owner and this mod fits within your vaping power range, you also are going to love it. I know pricing will be a determining factor in a purchase decision, and I have no information on pricing, but if this is priced at a point that's affordable it should do very, very well.

I can also say that if you're safety conscious and want a device that will make sure you stay safe... there is not a device I'm aware of on the market that comes close to the safety features of the P3.

Hopefully I will be OK to talk about what I love, what I like, and a few things I would like to see tweaked before release, but I will wait for Vape360 to let me know it's OK to talk a bit more in depth about my experience.

No price given on the costs of the beta units. The photo was posted on Facebook.

Yep the sale price is the 2.5...

That store is in Texas. They have a local store in Kentucky they are holding the sale of the P3 in Kentucky until after the release in Texas.

This an agruement for Provape to sell them on the website in my opinion!

I'm liking my Dragon a little more now.

I'm glad you like the P3 so far. You've made me even happier to know I'll be getting the very first one my local B&M sells!

I have to expect that the units they're advertising for sale are v2.5's , no?

I wanted anyone who lived in Texas to have info and I was excited because they may have a chance at a device they may have wanted.
I was so confused on which model and had to ask them to clarify... Yes I'm sorry it's for the V2.5.

I'm not considering a Stopsign P3 ProVari. I have 3 V 2.5's that I love. I Love the craftsmanship of my ProVari jewlery.
Sorry for interrupting the thread... Please continue...

I was told today, by my local shop manager, that their owners could "care less about the P3"...they aren't going to order any Betas to let people try...
They said they "don't make any money on Provaris anymore..."
Well that's because they aren't SELLING them...they just have them in a display case, along side a bunch of other mods, and don't use any sales skills to move the product.

I told them they were fools. Even if they don't like the P3, they are registered resellers, and could expect the P3 to move off the shelves! And if they didn't want to sell them, they could still order the Beta model, to bring foot traffic in their door!!!
99% of making a sale, is getting he customer in the door!
If a person came in, solely to see the Beta P3, the chances are 99% higher that they will look around the shop, and end up buying something...

What a bunch of bad decision makers...

Ok so I just read this entire thread (I skimmed over a lot of the posts though), and unfortunately the one question I would like an answer to wasn't addressed by Provape/vape360...

Will the price on the v2.5's go down after the P3 comes out?

Since the P3 will be priced higher than the 2.5, I wouldn't be holding my breath for lower prices on the 2.5.

You know I was all set to buy one.
I have since changed my mind.

I have 2 reasons.
First reason I love my Dragon. I couldn't use it if I had a new one.

Money isn't my problem.
Yes I could afford it, I own 3.

I have a problem with the way things are being handled.
What I mean is the dealers are controlling who will get one.

Put your name on a list to buy one. Nope not gonna happen.
Provape is even giving its control over to the dealers.
I don't think it is very fair to do this.

IMO Provape I don't think this is the way to handle things.
Might be a better idea to offer it on your website and at the dealers.

I am going to a Vape meet tomorrow night. I am pretty sure this topic will come up.
No one likes to be left out. I think it is a terrible way to do business.

Sorry if you might not agree.

I'm still getting one, and likely from my B&M, but I do agree Provape is NOT handling the rollout of the P3 well. Much earlier in this thread, I suggested Provape would do well to learn from how Apple releases a new product. Now I realize Apple is a mega-billion dollar company, which clearly Provape is not. But when they launch a new product, you can buy it from Apple directly, or their dealers. And they open pre-orders at the same time and its up to us customers to get online or on the phone to order one. Anyone who wants one can get one on launch day if they order early enough. And no one has to worry about pricing as it doesn't matter who you buy your new phone or iPad from, the price will be the same. People who delay, don't necessarily get it on launch day, but are informed the approximate delivery date at the time of order.

When I spoke with my B&M, they actually thought P3 was ONLY going to be sold at B&Ms. I told my dealer they were misinformed as Provape themselves said B&Ms would be first to get them, then online sales would open at a later date. My B&M was actually very disappointed with that, and that's why I think Provape is giving it to them first. If Provape is to grow, they need to nurture a loyal dealer network who sells their devices over other's sitting on their shelves. So while I kind of get why they're doing this, I still think they need to rethink their process for releasing the P3.
