Do you fry it before you vape it? So far you and RB are cotton bacon users.

My step-son uses it and I've tried a little bit of it. I couldn't really tell much difference between it and KGD Japanese Organic Cotton. So now I know that in the event I find myself in a pinch, I've found a suitable replacement that's available locally.

Now Ping, you should know me well enough by now. I jumped right on up to Version 3.1. Version 3.1 is cotton made from cotton plants grown on the top peaks of the Greek Islands and the plants are fed an exotic blend of Equadorian Roses and Miniature Calla Lilly's composted with Antibiotic Free, Free Range, Grain Fed, Yak Dung! Ha!

I love the predictability of the consistency of the amount I determine/cut and use.

Very unlike tearing off a blob of cotton, or trying to dissect a cotton ball.

I have Koh Gen Do, Native wicks, and tomorrow Cotton bacon will arrive. I plan on trying them all on FP KFL and use my favorite ejuice Gambit. As with anything which has to do with taste it's all subjective. If I compared the KFL to the FP KFL I'd vote hands down for the FP version. I have no technical reason why, but the flavor is better on the FP.

I got a message from Peter that the Russian 91 is on it's way. So, after work, I went on an odyssey to find a new juice I might like. I'm not the kind of vaper who changes juices much. In fact, for the last 2 years, I've vaped the same combination from my Vape Shop, which I enjoy and keeps me quite happy. But what's the point of having another RBA if I'm going to only use the same exact juice in it?? Huh? What??

I had heard of a vape shop close by who sells Five Pawns juice, so I started there. First the store was dark and dreary. Second, they use odd, old carto's for tasters, which have all seen better days. But I got what I needed to know and that is, I simply don't like any of the Five Pawns flavors (sorry Ping, I know you really like Gambit, but it just tastes awful to me). I tried about 15 juices. Some tobacco flavors, many fruit flavors and nothing tasted good to me at all. Then I went to a Lizard Juice shop down the street. I tried all sorts of their flavors. Nothing tasted good.

Finally, I went to my Vape Shop. I just love my Vape Shop. They make their own juices in their own lab and they are really good. At the tasting bar, they use drippers for each flavor, so you really get to taste the flavor and after trying a bunch of fruity ones (Sir Rod is just never gonna' like fruit flavors in his vape) and cakes (not them either), alcoholic beverages (I don't drink so they don't taste good), some alternative tobacco flavors (I like the combination I already vape from them) I found a cool Spearmint I thought tasted really nice and refreshing. I'm going to use the Spearmint in the Russian when it arrives.

This is why I would never order juice online. I guess I have odd taste buds, but to spend money on juice I would ultimately throw away, doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Thank goodness, I have a Vape Shop who makes really good juice I like and can taste before I buy.

You might try wintergreen sometime. It's also refreshing and mixes well with other flavors.

I tried the Wintergreen they make and I liked it as well. Maybe the next bottle I guy for the Russian will be Wintergreen.

Will y'all let me know how the bacon differs from KGD? I have a lot of KGD, but if there's a marked improvement with cotton bacon, I'll give it a go!

I know you said you tried the Five Pawns ... Did you try Bowden's Mate, by chance? Tastes like a Peppermint Patty, but made with really good Belgian dark chocolate. Might be worth a shot.

Yep, I tried it and every single flavor they offer, including the one they steep for 3 weeks. Sorry, but I just didn't like them at all. I guess it's a good thing. They're pricey and there's no reason for me to spend more money on juice that doesn't taste good to me. I guess my taste buds just aren't very refined!

Ask me how many different 'Vanilla' flavors I've tried - go ahead, take a guess? Cakes, custards, ice creams, french, all sorts of weird named ones... Bleh - the only one I really like, is very spendy, and does not sell in the US of course

Refined palette? Harrumph! Patooie! We like what we like - which is why there are eight-seven gazillion different juices on the market . My favs are bourbons, sour fruit, and great custards. And banana. Always banana . All that matters is that you've found juice that keep you vaping.

If they told you it has steeped 3 weeks if we are still talking five pawns they are wrong. Five pawns is steeped in their lab before shipping.

I'll be honest I didn't like Gambit in my Silo tank, but once I switched over to the Kayfuns the taste came to life. I do feel you are a menthol man and if that's the case you should stick to your local store.

LB loves single malt and I'm sure she can tell right away if it's scotch or single malt scotch.

I have the frying pan on the stove as my cotton bacon V2 is out for delivery. I will add that the ... cotton and native wicks have both wicked great and I've never had a dry hit. It might be that they are used on only SvoeMesto Kayfuns.

When I said steeped for three weeks, I meant the limited edition flavor Five Pawns steeps for three weeks and then charges even more $$ for. Maybe it was the taster cartos that didn't taste good to me. Maybe one of these days, I'll just buy a bottle and try it in a newly wicked coil on my device. It might taste better?

Amen to that!! In 2 months it will be a full 3 years since I lit my last stinky. 3 YEARS!! This is without a doubt the longest I've gone since I started smoking at 16 years old. I'm SO HAPPY about that!
