That's funny

And very mature
At least I kept it all about the device and didn't resort to trying to call someone an idiot.
Good day sir

Wow. If you couldn't understand that this applies to how we are seeing each other, I don't know what to tell you.

Hey, there's a place for people who get so emotionally worked up over the internet...it's called Facebook.

ANYWHO...
Back to the P3...

Does anyone want to see it fully color-matched? Meaning the top cap, and bottom cap, would be the same color as the tube?
Maybe not on the Silver, but definitely the black...

Yes!!!!

All I want is the Phil Busardo 'hex logo' taken off and place [my loving] teardrops in that section ;)

I'm so happy I know so little about watts, volts, amps, resistance, etc. All I care about is knowing when I wake up my Provari will work. If they only made the 2.5 I would be fine with it. Infact I ordered another 2.5 from Provape and it should arrive tomorrow per USPS tracking. What I have learned is making sure I use the best batteries and use a high quality charger.

Also good!

Those teardrops and the crop-circles are synonymous with P'vari ~ I wanted that branding to continue :) For some quirky reason I purchased my P-2.5s just b'coz of those. Dependability, consistency and ruggedness were a byproduct ;)

Plus, the teardrops are very grippy!
Who knows? Maybe they WILL make some tube design changes?

Yeah...I am a big fan of the teardrop pattern too....it is why I buy extended minis....

(sent from Mars, it's not as red as I imagined.)

See, I buy the Mini, because it's the most versatile...being capable of handling all three battery sizes.
I don't always use 18350 mode, but it's nice to have the option. That's why I like my P3 so much...all three battery sizes right out of the box!

I have one of the beta versions, purchased at VaporKings in Tulsa. I am 99% happy... maybe even 99.5%.Not wanting to wet-blanket, I though I'd ask this quesion in a PM, but couldn't.
My unit has issues shutting off as if the battery were drained when it is really not. Unscrewing the cap and putting it back on restores things to normal. Often this happens 2 or 3 times over the use of one battery. The unit is super clean, and I have stretched the spring a lot.
Rob at VK says this is a known issue, and I'm just wanting to make sure that when I take this over to VK for a software update that this issue is fixed.
The things you mention in the forum that are coming in the update sound great, but this hasn't been mentioned that I can find.
Other than that, I just love this unit.
I am also hoping for some kind of adapter so I can use my z-atty pro on it. I sent a lengthy (yes, it was polite) email giving feedback to one of your cust reps, but she didn't reply.
thanks....

Hi Jazz,

Here are some of the changes in the software section.

Ver 35 - Is the new Ver number.

1. We increased the amperage limit to 5.5 amps.

2. We added a function in the menu to when you are in the Aup or Adown, you can change power in both directions. For example if you go into Aup and you are adjusting your power up and you go past where you wanted, you release the button and wait a second. The system will toggle the arrow icon from Up to Down and then you click the button when it's pointing down, it will allow you to adjust down within the same screen. This saves you from having to go back out of the menu then to Adown to adjust.

3. We have added a back arrow icon in the second level menus so you can select to go back to the previous menu instead of going all the way out and then back into the menu.

4. In the recall info section, we slowed down the way the serial number scrolls. Some dealers that wanted to write down the number requested that it go slower because they could not write the numbers down before it would advance to the next set of serial numbers.

I think this is part of the overall message when you buy a provari- particularly the P3... In addition to having respectable performance, great usability and well thought out diagnostics, you get a lot of versatility/flexibility, and reliability that it's backed by proven support and customer service. Part of why I said, if I had to choose only one device to take with me it would be the P3.

Wow
Within the Limits.
250.00 for a "temp control " that's not really temp control, 5.5 Amps, 20w , a board that would have been Great in 2012 And i should build "within the limits" or 200 for a device that's In the now and is just as safe with very few limits 16amp and 40watts?
Hmmmm this is difficult.
It's not a cloud thing for some of us, I don't care if I make clouds. I don't want apple-esque limits. If the device can handle "X" and I'm paying for it, I should get "X" when I want it.
Not trying to argue trying to make a point. My brain hurts. how a company that prides itself on aerospace technology put out a product that would have been changed vaping two years ago instead it's like a repackaged evic supreme. the P2.5 was vape changing , for Its time what happened? I have two of them so I'm not in here as a hater I'm in here as a once loyal customer that hates watching provape go the way of the blackberry. They could have very easily, with a few lines of code, made this device what It should be and garnered many more buyers and not had several of us who own the 2.5 face palm ourselves and go get a new device that we CAN ACTUALLY ORDER and VAPE THE WAY (THE USER) WANTS TO.
then again Gerber doesn't make food for adults. - for the record this non-cloud chasing vaper is not suggesting an insane 10000 Watt device but rather SOMETHING COMPETITIVE WITH EVOLV AT LEAST. Shoot even the 30w with 10 amp limit from last year edge on the competition geeze.
again I've never been one to come down on what someone wants to spend their money on, no one is forcing me to buy this, therefore I won't. But when I know SEVERAL people who are now FORMER provape loyalists, solely because of the failure of this device to deliver what we expected, one can't help but wonder.

Leaving room

I tell it like it is
ive never sugar coated anything.
In fact to me that is sugarcoated.
I've been not saying much at all on ecf as of late; but I've been reading this.
Looking at It on paper the numbers and what's delivered for the price just don't make any sense. Then to see "build within it's limits" OMG it all hit me. For less money my DNA delivers twice the ability. Why should i need a really expensive mod that I have to work within it's limits and a less expensive mod so that I can vape the way I want?
When a simple couple of lines of code would let me vape the way I want with the peanutbutter mod.
I love the fact that my DNA mods are just as safe, but I don't have to worry about limits and building My Toppers the "provape" way.

Better yet I'll get one when the jailbreak comes out and I can reprogram it myself. I can use the battery monitoring software to let me up the amperage and wattage available based on what battery is in it. **hint hint

Jealous of your double DNA... Lmao !!!!
I'm not trying to make this a holy war...I'm comparing two products at their abilities and what they delivered for the price.
At the same time I've been fairly good, I think at giving provape the props they deserve.
still don't see where I've lobbed an insult to warrant the backlash or said anything untrue.

Wow... I can't even begin to bore the between world with a response to all of that.

I will; however, stand by my stance on the product; and, belief that this IS EXACTLY THE PLACE TO DISCUSS THE PRODUCT.
Everything I have said on THE OFFICIAL P3 THREAD. Is about the p3 and it's abilities or lack of abilities.
How is this the wrong place?

So I should spend 250 on a device and hope they can make it competive with a dna40?
Or at least a dna30?

How is that smart?

That's my point!!!!
Here's my money..... waiting for update to load....................
Or here's my money ... oh look a device that can drive anything I feel like putting on it and still has the safety on board... not a difficult decision. and I only need To have one device with me.

Struggling to organize the thoughts here....
Buy it and hope theY update it?... that's smart.
Blackberry was once the biggest company for mobile communication devices. Have you seen what's happened to them?
Did you also see where I expressed concern for the companies direction ?
Have you ever tried to contact them?
Have you noticed the hint that was spelled out?
Did you know this was a public forum?
Have you considered that Maybe.... just Maybe... this public forum could be used to express ones feelings about a product. Or possibly offer easy, low cost solutions for the mfg of a product that might just earn them more money? or i dont know maybe since they don't actually SPEAK to their customers; yet, they read ecf (first hand experience) maybe by being the voice of reason for some of the turned off customers they may actually make it a DESIRABLE PRODUCT FOR MORE PEOPLE.
I didnt say anything that was untrue. Nor did i BASH provape. I compared the products abilities to other products in its price bracket and pointed out the shortcomings of the P3.
I HAVE THAT RIGHT. i also said if its what someone wants to buy so be it. Did I call you or anyone a fanboy? Did I even reference the term fanboy?
Is it Ok to express what someone who buys Mods thinks and blessed they make their comparison. Shopping?
You may not like my response and for that im sorry that your feelings are hurt. But if provape doesnt know there is a demand for something and they are turning off customers then they wont change anything.
"Most capable device ever"??? The entire point of my post.....

I was looking at your pics... definitely a black e mod... Looks very rugged... I'm flipping a coim for my second... odds are it'll be another shark.. I'll know next week when j place the order

I thought you left the room, The P3 is not going to make you happy. It's not meant for you. There is no reason for you to buy it. You're clearly more concerned in compensating for some other inadequacy. Go away.
