IMO the P3 Beta Exterior is the BEST P3 design. The Diamonds are Forever Version. But...

I do appreciate beauty that is more than skin deep from time to time. And...

With all of that being said, it is time for an update for my Beta P3.

So, I emailed Provape yesterday morning. Received an answer and instructions yesterday afternoon. I kissed her Goodbye, Wished her luck, Boxed her up, and Sent her to Provape School for a lil learnin.

I sent her two Red Headed Step Brothers along to keep her safe. They will be getting a spa treatment as well.

I miss her so... All I have to keep me company are my 2 Ti Provi, and a PV-1. TEAR...

Hi all, I just got mine yesterday...yeayyyy As I'm playing with it, I noticed as small problem:

Mind you, the small problem could very well be me... hehehe I'll probably need to play a bit more with it to figure out if it is user error or a software glitch in mine.

If I save a setting (lets say) in P1 (screen brightness at level 1) and then save an other setting in P2 (with screen brightness at 5) (and the display brightness is not the same in both saved settings) when i switch from one setting to the other by using the recall function, the brightness automaticaly shows at a level of 3? and then I go to the menu and the setting shows level 5 or 1 but the brightness is still illuminating at level 3, until I actually select a level.

Any of you people found this is also happening to you? or is it just me?

Ps: my P3 is not a beta.

pps: other than this "glitch" or "user IQ too low" I really like it!!!! I have already 2 x 2.5 in my collection... hehehee

Can't say that I've seen that Problem.

Perhaps an email into Provape's help desk could net you an answer.

I'd like to see an upgrade where you could label your profile settings, like for certain attys or juices. That way you could just set to the set up you want to use at the time, instead of trying to remember which setting is for which set up. At least for those of absent minded folks. LOL

So you want a keyboard built into your P3? Seems like it might be a bit cumbersome, but maybe that's just me........It might, just might be a tad simpler to write the settings down or create a note in your phone........

I think Provape has it setup just fine. If they could find a way to input an alphanumeric name for a profile, it would take way too long to scroll across the screen and select the one you want. Having separate profiles the end user can select quickly is already a great innovation Provape included in the P3. Just my opinion though...

What are the release notes for the different software/firmware versions? What is fixed changed in the updates? Is there a version history somewhere?

Does anyone here have the Satin Silver P3 and a matte (not polished) Russian or Russian 91% ? I am curious how similar the finishes are, or whether they clash together.

I found some pics online, but they don't seem to be too accurate due to lighting conditions or image quality.

Finish seems to be identical. The color is off just slightly.

FYI, I am using my P3 in in 18490 size. I purchased this am at 9:01 as the b&m opened at 9 lol, installed the new AW 1200 mah 18490 and am still at 34%. I would be well into the second battery bar with my other mod, the Provari seems much more efficient.

Been using mine in 650 mode for 10days. I'm thinking that I'm getting less battery life compared to my 2.5 full size.
With the new % feature on the battery life It could get throwing me off a bit.

Another idea that would be cool along the lines of differentiating the different profiles, what if you could have them named when you take/send it in for updates? 1 could be renamed to Kayfun, 2 could be Tug Boat, 3 could be Big Dripper, 4 Nautilus, 5 Silo for example.Included as part of the update fee and a smaller charge to just change the names. This would also be a way that B&M's could make a little of the money back that they spent to get the hardware needed to do the updates by charging a small fee to do these. Obviously this would depend heavily upon what the update hardware consists of, I assume it will be along the lines of a device that is either a computer or hooks to one.
