I'm really surprised how quickly and easily the P3 has slipped into my routine... it's like I've been using the menu forever... I don't think about it, I just instinctively use it, and it's up on 3 now. After a only a few days, the P3 isn't "new" but more like an old comfortable pair of shoes. That speaks well of its ergonomics.

I'm still appreciating the boost more and more now that I am getting used to it. It takes awhile to lose the habit of using primer puffs.

I'm beginning to dislike the IQ. It thinks it is smarter that it is.
Showed dead battery...I'm thinking, ok. The batteries are not as new as they once were. Put the battery on the charger.....the battery was charged in half the time it usually takes to charge. I will keep monitoring what it does but kinda not liking IQ. :(

I wish I could turn IQ off.

Just figured out a test I can do. I will put a freshly charged battery in the P3. I will use it until I get that dreaded dead battery. Switch that Same battery to my regular ProVari and see how long it takes before it actually does the blinking light thing.

Freshly charged battery going in Now. IQ reads 99%

This post is my time stamp.

Robin, did it take half the time to charge your battery because it was already half charged or is it because your battery is old and doesn't take as much of a charge as it used to?

This is THE first time that any of my batteries ever charged that quickly. I have 5 batteries that get rotated regularly. I have thought of that. That is why when I get the dead battery with the P3, I am going to put it into my other ProVari and see what happens. ;)

I am thinking that the battery may still have had half a charge when the P3 said it was dead.

Hmmm. I'm getting a full day on my 18490's. I'm not noticing any problem. So are you referring to the battery meter or the IQ?

Me too. I'm getting a full day on my 18490's. I start vaping when I get up, so using today's battery, I got up at 7:00 AM and have been vaping all day and my battery says it's 64% and IQ is 86. I usually check IQ in the morning and it started the day at 92.

Robin, have you tried stretching the spring on your P3 connector a bit?

Doesn't the IQ measure the battery along with everything else? LOL
I'm saying that the light blinks on the P3 and I check the window it says dead battery. I take the battery out and put it on the charger. It charges in half the time it normally would.

I put this battery in earlier today. This is the 18650 so it SHOULD have been good till at least tomorrow sometime. It did not even last a day. I thought, Ok. could be these batteries are getting old.

That is why I am going to try my little test. If this battery goes as quickly as it did earlier, I will put it in the other Provari. IF the battery is dying, it will not last long on the other provari. IF it is a problem with the P3 I will know. I will NOT like having to unscrew the damn cap and rescrewing it back in just to get a couple more hours of vape time before having to do the same damn thing again.

Clear? LOL

This test will let me know if there is an issue :(

That is not the IQ. You're talking about the thing that measures your charge on your battery (I call it a battery meter). The thing that gives you the percentage.

Yes, try taking the battery out of your P3 and immediately put it back in and see what reading you get (need to take a coupe drags for it to register).

When I made my first post about this and said that I put a freshly charged battery in, I did take a couple of hits off of the P3. Yes, I know that I have to do that to get it to read the battery.

At that time, the battery meter read 99%. It now reads 89%. It dropped 10% in what? I need to go back and check the time stamp on that post.

Edit to add time: 6:21pm So from 6:21 to 6:55 it dropped 10%

I know no one wants to have to remove and re-install the same battery to get the last 50% out of their battery. I just want to see if this happens to you. We can ask Vape360 why this happens. Could be a dying battery.

And what is your IQ? Simply select the up arrow for your power adjustment and let it scroll through the various readings. The IQ will be one of the last readings.
