Yes, but honestly, at this point, I just want to vape. You still must attach a 'coil' to itsy bitsy screws, and then wick it. I bought all the stuff, and a few toppers, and have never touched any of it, but do I even bother listing new year-old stuff at this point? Or just kiss it off as wasted money?

I don't think of anything as wasted money. Even if you didn't use it you learned something more about what you wanted from vaping. Why don't you PIF to Ping?

Um, that's totally not true, but I will ignore this "issue" because its silly and exhausting.

I'm pretty sure that it is true, the atty doesn't affect the IQ, but it does affect the battery (which affects the IQ). I'm not too knowledgeable on this subject, but if I remember correctly a battery "under load" is different than one that is "open", which is why the IQ changes when you put an atty on the device.

I have no idea if I explained that correctly, so maybe someone a little more knowledgeable will explain it better

You are correct, however, if one of our data-miners could be so kind as to locate the post(s) from Vape360...? That would be sufficient as the most official answer to this query regarding the IQ feature.

More simply explained, the IQ stands for INPUT QUALITY...which takes into account not only the battery, but the channels of electricity throughout the device. This means battery end cap threads, battery extension ring threads (if using in 18490 or 18650 modes), the connection between the battery end cap and the spring, the connection between spring and battery, between battery and chip/board, the chip/board itself, and the chip/board to the center pin...
So, in fewer words, the IQ reads everything from the center pin down, that plays any part in output to the atomizer.
While it is true that a battery under load would read differently than a battery not under said load, I have forgotten if this makes a difference to our dear old friend Mr. IQ...
I know that on my trusty v2.5's, I get a more accurate battery check when my atomizers are not connected to the device...but as the P3 is the first of its kind, I have no idea what else may be affected with the atomizer connected vs. disconnected.

That's a very good plan. The IQ can make you obsessive and crazy. As long as it's "good" there no reason to be concerned. And if it's not good, I'm sure the ProVari will let you know by other means. I don't even check it.

I don't even own one and it's stressing me out.

I knew they put me out of the market with this feature.

It's a smoother, cleaner pull and that's right out of the box (upped the wattage slightly). I have been reading the little 512 USB stick with the manuals on before and checking stuff out in the menus.

Hahahaha that's awesome! I'm just happy to be back in the vaping scene with a updated device that can power the newer tanks. 12.5 watts just didn't cut it and I bought the Turbo and Sub and they didn't work well on the 134. I'm just a happy chappy right now . Thanks ProVape!
