The best thing you did Sir Rod was to walk away last night.
Thanks and that's the truth. You don't know how close my shiny new KFL+ was to flying off my 9th floor balcony. Yes it was!

Should you ever get to that point again, please feel free to send it off to "Tim's Home for Abandoned, Discarded, Forgotten, and Neglected vape Gear", c/o ThePaladin...
Proud Provarinati...
Yeah, hard to beat a Kayfun for flavor once you get the wicking right.
What makes the Kayfun such a great atty imo, is the density of the vapor stream.
They don't need a lot of power to produce a strong hit, so they work equally well with regulated or unregulated mods.
They really work well even as low as 3.7-3.8V, which is perfect on a mech.
Still one of the best attys out there and the most influential in terms of design.
Try to disregard the amount of vapor production on the KF.
It's not so much the big clouds with a Kayfun.
It's the really solid TH and flavor.
You're golden as long as you are getting those Two things imo.

Where have you been oh Provarinati Feline Queen? Huh? Where? So it takes me failing at coil building to get you to post? LOL
I have been riding. For the last 6 months I've been horseless (for the first time in 25+ years), but now I have a new friend. I forgot how long it takes to bond with a new horse, so it's everyday in a round pen - going around and around and around and around and around

Congratulations! I'm sure the hard work will be well worth it. Horses actually scare me to death and they know it. I was thrown from one as kid and my fear can be smelled a mile away!
LOL....I'm not sure I'm ready for a Kayfun to control my destiny, but what the hey, there are far worse things that could, so OK, I'm in!![]()
Two things Rod. Make sure you center the coil over the air hole. 2nd., consider your juice. The higher the pg the less power you need to hit the vapor point. If your running 70 pg you run into wick lag on a 2mm ID/2 ohm coil at about 10 watts and it gets worse from there hitting burnt level at 15 watts. Up the ID to 2.5 or 3mm and 15watts is not so bad thanks to more juice in the wick.So tonights adventure with wire. I built three coils. One with 9 wraps. Too high. One with 7 wraps. Too low. One with 8 wraps. Perfect. It came out a tad over 1.5 ohms. I wicked her, primed her, put the KFL+ all back together, filler her up and let her sit for 5 minutes before taking a vape. So far, much much better than last night's adventure with wire. Since I'm a picture guy, here's tonight build:

Congratulation Sir Rod! It is a great vape. If I had a crystal ball. I would see a KF4 in your future. I'm thinking 3 to 6 months. Same great vape and easy to fill.
Well, It came yesterday...
A brand spankin new Provi Ti P3
As soon as I got back to my van, I pulled the Kayfun and battery from my Provi Beta P3 and went to town.
W O W , Its so Light...
How light is it?
Its so light that... It makes the Stainless P3 feel like a kettle weight.
Love it Love it Love it!!!
Worth the Money? YES!!!
That is all, Jim
Good morning everyone. Been a long time since i have been here. But Last week i finally got my new gun metal P3! I love this mod. My first high end mod was the 2.5 and since then i have tried so many other mods. I have used mechs, box, and dna30/40's. I swear the only thing that comes close to the quality of a provari is the SX mini. (my second favorite device) I couldn't care less about clouds, so the "limitations" of the p3 are a mute point for me.
Just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone. Vape on!!
