jwb, why is it not a good thing to swap out batteries? I have 2 Radii and a small stable of P3's, so I'm a lover of ProVape products. The P3's require batteries to be swapped; I do it every day. So why do you think ProVape didn't want swapping to go on with the Radius? (Not being argumentative. Im really curious.). Thx!

Butting in where it's none of my business...

I don't think it's necessarily bad, but somewhere in posts and/or on the ProVape site they said the Radius wasn't designed to switch batteries out all the time.

Thanks, TO. I appreciate the response.

I'll offer a different perspective. I don't think Provape has an issue if someone wants to change the battery in their Radius as often as they wish. AS LONG as the battery they use is of sufficient quality to operate their Radius to the safety standards ProVape envisioned in the design and operation of the Radius.

I'd personally say the Radius design is one of simplicity and ease of use. In that I mean, it's simply not necessary to change the battery in a Radius, except when the useful life of the battery is adversely affecting the normal use and operation of one's Radius.

People kept asking Provape for a mod with Provape quality, performance and safety they could plug in without having to change batteries multiple times every day. They succeeded beyond expectations with the Radius. Yes they did!

For someone like Mariusk, however, the Radius may not be the mod that meets his needs. That doesn't mean Provape needs to change the design of the bottom of the Radius. It's an extremely intelligent design, that ensures the best connection possible, and safety for us users. It just may not be the best design for him.

It's OK if they don't have devices that meet your needs. But you are not posting in ECF general forums. This is Provape's hosted forum, paid for by Provape.

No offense, but since there's nothing here you feel is right for your needs, there must be other non-Provape hosted threads your time could be better spent.

Wrong.

Anyone who has paid hard earned money should have a right to post any criticisms or suggestions they like as long as they don't get ugly about it or misrepresent the facts. How else is Provape going to get honest feedback in a forum full of sunshine pumpers?

Provape may be paying a modest amount to have a vendor subforum here, but I'm fairly sure the $2,564.86 I have spent with Provape in the past 8 months gives me the right to offer feedback in whatever form or forum I like, again, as long as I'm not ugly about it or post falsehoods. Given that I want to see the best possible product from Provape why on earth would I do otherwise?

Maybe get over yourself a little, the folks at Provape are grownups and don't need you shielding them from anything that isn't glowing praise. And don't bother responding, I won't be back here. I'm sure if there is anything new and noteworthy From Provape, they'll send me an email.

My apologies Stealthy. I certainly didn't mean to upset you, certainly to the point you'd feel you need to leave. I do admittedly get defensive when I think someone is being critical over things, but that's not an acceptable excuse and I should be more careful.

WOW. G'morning to all of you, too!

Lots of schtuff going on in here today. In terms of the "right/wrong" of posting praise vs. criticism, how's about talking straight to Wilbur?

(please don't take that the wrong way, Mr. Provape! you know damm well how silly I am.)

@Vape360, what say you on this matter? I do think it would be helpful for all of us, (current and future members) to have some guidelines of what IS ok in a Provape thread, and what is NOT ok.

If you don't mind, I'd love to hear from you on this. I have a feeling everyone would (benefit).

P.S. If you Guys and gals remember, a couple of months ago I said something was coming that would be a game changer, Well, it's almost here, and it is gonna Knock your socks off!!!

So get ready to grab your wallets! It's gonna be worth it. Yes it is!!!:cool:

Knife, you must be referring to a new Provape product? I'm a little confused since the Procyon was just released...

neezie, E, did you order the caps? They are marvelous and definitely very good quality. Wear 'em proudly!

I screw tank on,
adjust wattage,
press button,
and vape!

No, No, No...

Yer doin it all wrong!!!

PREZACTLY! Everyone knows it's:

adjust wattage,
press button,
vape,

and grunt! (if you're a dude. women dahlings.... replace the grunt with an "ahhhhhhhhhh").

USMCotaku, they operate like a charm, they're only slightly outdated. A simple upgrade of the v2.5 could be a hit.

I hope with all hopes that I never understand this 2.5 moniker, "outdated". They remain as au courant as they ever were, at least to me. :)

Would I object to increased wattage? Nope, not a tall. But I'll vape them happily just as they are.

 da 2.5s!

Between the 2.5, Classic, P3 and the Procyon, Provape has covered both traditional and high wattage vaping pretty darn well in the tube mod category.

I'm one of those who finds it necessary to swap the battery in my Radius if it's my only device. Good for you if you can go two days on a charge, but it's not realistic to expect that to be true for all users.

It's really not a big deal to swap the battery, it takes me less than a minute, and I don't need any tools. That's good enough for me. I'm just mindful to be gentle with the wire and negative contact disc. No device is perfect, and certainly none is perfect for everyone's needs. Take the Procyon, not my cup of tea, but I'm very happy to see it's launch and the enthusiastic reception of this new device, even from some folks who were negative towards ProVape.

If you look at their current product portfolio, they have a pretty good selection of devices that covers the range of atomizers out there quite well. And I have a feeling that they are not done yet, seeing how quickly the Procyon followed the Radius' debut.

I was initially lukewarm toward the P3, even disparaging at times. I have come to really like the device, and have the Ti version at the top of my want list.

So now that Provape managed to develop the new High Performance End Cap for the Procyon, which offers X4 times electrical connection (quoting their website), they can certainly copy the design to the Radius as an upgrade, offering both a better conductivity and easier battery replacement.
