It's only a better buy if you can live with 18650 only.

I can do that at home, not out and about.
I like the form factor of the shorter length, its easier to get around with that's for sure. But I am an all day vaper, and the bigger battery would be helpful. I have 1 mini and 2 regular size 2.5s and the difference in battry life is huge. That's my issue! My Radius gets me through most of the day... i think the tube form coupled with the bigger battery might be a tad large for me. I am going to try it out with my dragon... i have an extension for that, i will give it a go for a day and see before i buy.

ETA: "PreVeon" was abandoned when the new marketing guy sobered up and remembered he worked for PrOvape and not PrEvape.

LOL - Both really. Stacking batteries is a whole lot less safe than single cells in general, but doesn't have to be completely unsafe if done properly (emphasis on "properly"). I guess that clues us in on ProVape's plans for a 2-cell series mod... ;)

Two cells doesn't necessarily mean stacked.

There is no reason a Two cell device can't be designed to be safe, even though it would have the potential for a bigger boom if something were to go wrong.

NOOOOOOO!!! I just went to place my order for the Satin Procyon and it says 1-2 weeks! Crap. Thats not good :(

Depends on your POV.

Maybe ProVape sold out already.

I think they would think that was good, at least from a market perspective.

I keep telling myself I dont need the Procyon since I have a P3 already. But it is really tempting. Really tempting. I went to order a Procyon today and it showed the ship time to be 1-2 weeks out. So maybe that it is a sign to wait (or a sign I should have ordered it right away) but will wait and see next week.

Plus I am so happy with my Radius (I bought two) that I am trying to justify the Procyon. Hmmmm... I think I am trying to talk myself out of buying a Procyon. Heh.

Good Luck with that.

I'm trying not to talk myself into buying one.

The Procyon would be a house-only dedicated dripper mod for me.

You'd think that would do it, but no; still thinking about it.

Who will buy a P3 now at the same price? I do not understand Provape pricing.

I would.

P3s are still more versatile.
Some of us actually like the extra info.
It's available in Titanium.

IT'S AVAILABLE IN TITANIUM!!!

Laughing, I am NOT, HB.

The day ProVape releases a SBS option might well be the epicenter of my vaping existence. I'm WITH you, sir.

And I do believe that Ms. Kitty might be too. ;)

Less watts, less juice, less batteries burnt, less money spent... MORE STUFF FOR ME!

Does Kat know about this?

Never said it did.

Exactly what I said.

I was responding towards the bit at the end regarding ProVapes future plans, or lack there of, rather than the other bits. And yes, I do know you wrote series.. just putting it out there to maybe help keep ProVape considering a multiple cell product.

The Procyon does not have the visible IQ reading. We have not had any issues with that, but it doesn't hurt to use a tiny amount of No-ox on the threads if you choose.
thanks for the reply. That carbon powder build up tends to get really bad after a month or two and makes the threading EXTREMELY rough on the 2.5's. Does the carbon buildup occur even mildly on the new Procyon?

Also, when does the Procyon cut off power? When the battery is at 3.2v or higher?

The ordering must stop...
Must stop ordering...
Can not order anymore...
I will resist...
I must resist...

Coldgin, it's everything you've ever wanted in a PV.

NO! GO AWAY!
The ordering must stop...
Must stop ordering...
Can not order anymore...
I will resist...
I must resist...

But Coldgin, it's a one piece 18650 tube mod with a end cap that doesn't need a spring. And it's a PROVARI...MADE IN U.S.A.!

NO! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!
The ordering must stop...
Must stop ordering...
Can not order anymore...

So what color did your order?

As much as many would like to see a dual battery mod from ProVape, I would be surprised if they made one due to safety issues. It's hard enough to get people to buy the right batteries, let alone teach them about married pairs, etc. IMHO, a dual battery mod from ProVape will only come when they figure out how to permanently marry cells, like any other product using lithium packs.

Actually I'm trying to resist until the warranty on both my P3's run out. 1st one will be 16Jun16, 2nd one will be 21Jan17. Not sure if I will make it, but by then, there should be more color choices. I want black but not stealth. I don't want the solid black button or the darkened window.
