First of all I don't have to come with a solution. I'm a customer, not a employee.
No, but someone offering a suggestion is much more likely to be heard than everyone else who just complains. Who knows, you might just come up with something clever they'd never thought of before, and suddenly the next firmware update contains your suggestion.
And second, the solution is there for years, since the Provari v1 was released.
That went away with multi-level menus, and added features such as BACK, which saves a lot of time, rather than having to re-enter the menu for every setting you want to change. Also, that's what the preset memory is for.
I really don't care if a
mod can handle 50 watts or 500 watts. The problem is elsewhere. I still didn't find one who delivers quality, reliability, is compact and built to last. And I owned more than a few..
Are you looking for a tube or a box? Your requirements above all say "Radius", but I recall you didn't like the battery changing design. Yes, it was meant to be captive and not changed with every charge, and for most people who have USB ports nearby all day, that works fine, but it's not for everyone. I've been shocked and burned so many times by mech mods and poor connections that I have a better understanding of why ProVape places connectivity so high in importance. My Atomo button would both shock me and heat up very quickly if the connection wasn't tightened very often. My Nemesis would shock me across the 'beauty ring' when threads needed to be cleaned.
Anyway, never can please 100% of the people 100% of the time. I just consider myself very lucky holding a Procyon after asking so many times for ProVape to come out with an 18650-only tube at higher wattage.
I don't know how it's on the Procyon, but up to the P3 the electronics is exposed anyway.
You were asking for a tube connection high enough to plug in a USB cable, which would directly expose the electronics (to touch, not just visible). The P3's first connection is about 3 inches down. You'd never be able to plug a USB cable in from 3 inches away. That's what my comment was about.
And regarding the safety issue you mentioned, people could use something less than an 18650 even now, by using some spacers widely available.
Sure, they could, but they know they're doing something that was not intended. Most people aren't battery experts and assume that if it fits, it can be used. In a lawsuit, adding spacers would be seen as a modification and ProVape wouldn't be liable as it took all reasonable measures to ensure end-user safety. But, when you idiot-proof something, the world builds a bigger idiot.
