Thanks Mike. ProVape has never (to my knowledge) indicated how much "extra" power it delivers at varying power levels. This is what I really want to know. Busardo put his P3 on a scope and I don't remember what the exact results were but essentially it was a few watts (per the duration schedule you posted) at intermediate power levels and tailed off the higher the power setting. I think it was pretty much insignificant above 15 watts.
All Provape says in the manual is 5 watts. I think its on page 23. Nothing is said about anything else besides duration.

Question for everyone.....Does anyone have 'play' in the bottom battery cap of the Radius? It's not much, but there is play/movement. I've gotten the screw tight, but there still appears to be some play in the bottom battery cap piece. Don't remember it having play when I first purchased it. I sometimes have to swap batteries during the day.

I did at first but after I tightened the two thumb screws with vise-grips, it has no more play.

Just kidding of course but maybe you just need to torque down a bit more on the thumb screws?
You can feel the play a bit before you tighten the screws so the play/tolerance is definitely there.

Ok.

Hey Knife, it's called the ProVari Radius. It's MADE IN U.S.A. by ProVape! :smokie:

I couldnt finish watching that garbage.....like a mod or not, I don't care....but for cryin out loud, research the device before reviewing it

He very well may have by looking at a few other reviews and worked to make his even more outrageous. Heck, there were people promoting their dislike for the product and the same issues, even before is was released.....as it seems to be a sport for some to do so. And, many of them are probably watching these comments and busting a gut laughing at the elitists.

We should stop talking about it though, discussing will just give him more hits and popularity.

By the way, I'm quite pleased with my Radii.

The Radius is a great mod, but I have no problems being critical when I pay $250US for one device. Critical, not negative or bashing. The Radius is not perfect by any stretch IME.

The $50-ish add on for the Stealth treatment is too much of an upcharge for what you get IMO. If I did it again, I would stick with what I originally ordered which was the original stainless/black. I now have the Stealth as I had to return my original Radius twice to be fixed and asked if I could go Stealth as I didn't want to potentially return the same mod 3 times across North America. It was on a FedEx truck more than in my possession. I paid the full difference in price to "upgrade" to the Stealth.

Also, my original Radius had a loose display window before and after the battery meter was sent to be "fixed" and my Stealth also came with a loose display window. Is this a common on this mod? Pretty annoying.

In any case, I hope the battery meter works properly on this one as I will snap if I have to send it back again. :)

I am very happy with my 8 other ProVape mods, but I am not 100% sure about the Radius yet.

You lost me. How many different Radius are there? One Radius- one set of instructions.
The box of every mod you buy, not every radius!

There ARE instructions in Every Box. The Instruction sheet says that they are going paperless, and to go to the instruction site, and includes the link!
I know this, and I would think if he had read the instructions, he could have found the manual.

That's true with the P3 except it's 20 watts capacity). I'm just wondering if there is a different power setting on the Radius where boost tails off, like in the P3.
Bronze, It is my understand that the increase in watts is 5 watts, and the leaves set the time of the increase.
The increase will not work above a 35 watt setting on the "Provape Provari Radius". (Man, will I ever live this one down)?

I would imagine it is the same for the P#, with 15 watts being max, as it tops at 20. So the boost would not function above 15 as this would put it beyond the 20 watt max.;)

I've noticed that the top reviewers aren't coming up in searches of things I'm interested in. Instead I keep getting results by people who were in a hurry to be first leaving me wondering why the even bothered to do a video & why I actually sat thru it.

Ha!

Just that one device. My 4 2.5's are great, my 2 P3's are now great once I figured out IQ and maintenance and same with the couple of Classics I own.

Hopefully the Stealth works properly. So far so good, but I haven't used it enough for the battery meter to even more yet.

I would assume the same thing. And of course when you look at it in terms of percentage, a 5 watt increase at 35 watts is much lower (noticeable) than a 5 watt increase at 15 watts. If someone is vaping at, say, 20 watts I kind of get the feeling boost is rather un-noticeable. Just a guess as I've never tried it.
