Great suggestion to keep an eye on the classifieds. If I were looking for just a P3 Kabuki base, I'd cross my fingers and email House of Hybrids and ProVape to start with. Unlikely to find just a base available there but couldn't hurt to ask. Not sure why they don't offer just a 510 and P3 Kabuki base though. Would be nice for interchangeability with various mods. P3 Kabuki occasionally show up on the ebay too.

Cool good advice thanks. Would anyone know where i can find a P3 base for my Kabuki so i can take advantage of the p3 connection? When i bought my Kabuki about a year ago the only option was either p3 or 510. Now they sell one that includes both but id rather not shell out the cash if i can find just a p3 base.

Well the Radius does come with a 510 adapter so that you can use a 510 threaded tank on the device. Those newer Kabuki's you're talking about are just basically a P3 Kabuki with a P3 to 510 adapter.

You can call and ask Mike (zen) at HOH if he will sell you just the base, but you won't be saving much. The base is about 80% of the cost of making the kabuki from what mike has said.

Ok, the Radius showed up today. No explanation, no paperwork and no charging port cover, awesome! It is working and took just shy of 3 weeks to be repaired and shipped.

3 weeks and 1 missing part, I'm still sorting out how this feels. $40 and no one cares...$200 gets me repaired, the cost of shipping and no explanation regrading the fail...

Would I purchase again? At $20, Hell yes, $200, hmmmmmm....?

I'm being critical, $200 for a mod that failed or $40-$50 for off shore with little to no expectations and no failures to date, interesting.

The most expensive mod I ever purchased failed and was repaired for the cost of shipping. The cheap china mods keep working.

The Radius is a great vape instrument, it really is and I'm happy to own one. Will I purchase again? I don't know, failure at this price is sub par IMHO. My eLeaf Pico continues to keep going and going and going and cost me less than $30!

Please don't get me wrong, I would be totally ...... if I couldn't have gotten my radius repaired. But I think for the price, failure would imply exceptional experience considering the device was <2 months old. At two large, they fell short of my expectations.

Make your comments, am I out of line? I really wanted to love the Provari line.

Not in my opinion, no. I thought your original description was great (with some humor injected), and we all have a right to our opinions. Most of us have run a gamut of experiences, both good and bad, with many varieties of devices, also both good and bad.

"Out if line"? Nope. Not at all. Quite reasonable in fact. I feel bad for your experiences.

Out of line? Nope, you just spoke you mind. I wouldn't worry about it too much. You bought a product, it broke, and the company fixed it. How you feel about the experience and the relative value of the product and service you received compared to other products you have is a personal assessment. That's all I got from your post. Hope your Radius serves you well for many years, it's a pretty cool and unique device.

Ouch!

As someone who traded for her first ProVari device ions ago, assuming it was a waste of money and I'd be happily selling it off in the classifieds, it is realistic to me that you will change your tune as time goes on. I sure did and still own and use that first vari tube mod.

In the meantime enjoy your Radius along with your other devices.

Vape on....

What do you mean, Turf? You mean that JRFII is "out of line"......? For what? Expressing an opinion or an experience?

So sad, Turf.

No you did NOT...!!!

Oh yes, I did. ;)

If y'all missed the fact that this member took his Radius apart and was still not charged, but was given warranty service when it failed.

And that according to the repair timeline reported here... sent in on 12/22 returned today? Which is hardly three weeks.

ProVape took it in the shorts on this one... and then to complain and compare it to 40 dollar Ghina Mods?!?

Is in My Opinion out of line.

Jim

And you are entitled to your opinion too, Jim. Mine is that we, especially we, have seen plenty of people act inappropriately where ProVape is concerned. I also feel the presentation here was fair, and without malice.

And the world keeps spinning, round and round.

Pico, the butane lighter of the mod world...
I don't own one so I can't speak to it. Many who do are pleased though.

One day I might own a Provi that's not a v2x, but that's no certainty. It's unlikely I'll own a Pico.

Nothing against either, just nothing drawing me.

Reasonable opinions, even when they don't align with our own, should never be cause to condemn someone.

Am I out of line?
