Nicely done!I think I posted this once a long time ago, but I was published in a national watch magazine for an article I wrote on one of my diver watches (though I don't dive). It's attached if'n anyone wants to read it.

ZIP charging at 2amps??? No way I would subject my Bat's to that kind of abuse!![]()
Thank you!
very true....and the VS mods come with suitable battery preinstalled, guess they expect the users to be smart enough to replace that battery with a likewise suitable oneDepends on the battery really. 2A isn't abuse if the max charge rate is 4A. ProVape is playing it safe because some 18650's have a max charge rate of 1A, and since anyone can install any battery they want, they have to account for all possibilities. Even if a manufacturer says "only use this brand and model", someone is bound to install something else, because it fits and they know better, then it explodes, makes the news, and blames the manufacturer.
That was a pleasant read, thanks. I wish I could afford a quality collection. My only hobby watch is a Rolex Sub I picked up in Grand Cayman in 1996. Payed 2,600 for it and have; despite manufacturer warnings, never brought it in for maintenance. Thing just keeps on working. Something to be said for "You get what you pay for".

Okay, I'll take your advice and look in to it. I'm actually curious to see how much they are going to get me for[emoji383][emoji12]

My brother just had Rolex themselves service his watch and it cost........$800. That's not astronomical for a service and it could cost quite a bit more if parts are worn out. But not servicing one, ensures at some point you'll have a nice looking watch that doesn't keep time at all.
Lol. Imagine a car actually being able to do that? Speaks to the quality of Rolex that's for sure. I'm going to be in for a lot more than 800 once I include buffing some scratches out of the band and getting the sapphire polished I'm thinking. But I'm going to get it done. I've grown fond of it over the last two decades and don't want it to die on me.

My Submariner was a terrible watch. It was beautiful but would start losing time about a year after servicing. After 2-3 years it would lose 5-10 min A DAY. I think it was just a lemon. I got rid of it for the Omega and believe it or not, I get it serviced at Sears. Been going there for 10+ years and they are great. About $200 every 5 years. Expensive hobby though and I am glad I am not very interested. A buddy has more than a few TWCs and a gold Patek and I cant imagine what they are insured for. Some of them are new luxury car expensive now.

Note, the last pic is of my Limited Edition Grand Seiko. Grand Seiko is their ultra high end line hand made in the Jura Mountains of Japan and is more than competitive with Rolex. They weren't available in the US until 2010. The movement is a work of art:

I'm a watch guy and have a nice small collection of really good mechanical watches. One day, I plan to add a Panerai to my collection as well. But the watch that most has my attention these days is the Breguet Marine:
