Are you aware that batteries can be charged or replaced right?
You do not need to buy a new mod every time battery goes off. [emoji3]

For the record, I have five Radiuses and all have a loose screen cover.
It does rattle but very little and there is also very minimal movement that is barely noticeable with my eye in the lens.
This should not be the case but I'm ok with it considering the mod is excellent overall.

Bad luck on five Radiuses? Not very likely.
IMHO this is clearly not a QA issue but rather a design/engineering decision/compromise.

+1. I would love to see what's going on here.

Edit: I'm not calling anybody out. I can tell that there is a strip in the body of the Radius that is raised further than the rest of the body on that side to comensate for the really thick lens this thing has and I honestly can't picture this. It looks like the lens would either be in or not. I doesn't look like it could be kinda in place. Are we talking about the screen 'under' the lens?

There really is no way to demonstrate the movement with a photo.

The lens is obviously not glued in place (not saying it should be glued) otherwise there would not be a rattle noise.
Under lighting, I can see the movement in the lens by seeing the light reflections on the lens move when I press on it.
Again, the rattle is very light and the movement is barely noticeable, but it is there.
If I tap on the lens I can hear the play as well and if I shake the Radius I hear it move.

Not a big deal to me folks. Just mentioning this because someone else did. My lenses do not move 1-1.5mm like the other person that mentioned this issue.
In fact, from the looks of it, the lens appears to be rocking or teetering rather than moving sideways or up and down.

EDIT-
I am not concerned about "being called out" by any means. I have nothing to gain or lose here for any reason whatsoever.

At least that makes more sense to me as I can't see that lens moving side to side once in place.

I guess if your experience wasn't unlucky, I'll consider myself really lucky because I only own one and mine looks rock solid. I guess I got a home run on the first try.

My current Radius has a loose window. Same with my previous one and the 2 I looked at in a B&M.

None of my 11 Provari tube mods have a lose cover.

I guess I'll "come out" of the tiny bit loose Radius screen "closet" as well. I have two Radii. The Cabernet Red screen is tight tight tight. My customized Radius screen is the teeny tiniest bit loose. It doesn't rattle, even if'n I shake it. But it does move the tiniest bit if I push up or down on it. It doesn't bother me in the least (and I redefine OCD/.... - I really do). There's no way it's going to negatively impact the life or use of my Radius. It can't fall out. It looks and works great. I chalk it up to the different tolerances in the Polycarbonate shell the window is attached to. So there. ;)

If mine was defective, I definitely wouldn't have stayed in any closet about it. I would have notified Provape immediately about the issue and started a return process for one that met my expectations. I think it's insane that people are buying four more of these instead of addressing the first one.

But it's not defective. Just about every one at my local dealer does the very same thing. Could I send it back and have them do something to it so it can't move the teeny tiny way it does. Yes, I suppose I could. But it won't really make a difference. Mine only moves if I push on it up or down and even then, the movement is imperceptibly tiny. It does meet my expecations. It was made just for me and I love it tiny movement and all.

mine has no give....at all...in any direction. no rattle if I shake it, no movement side to side, no give if I push on it. I'm glad you're happy with it as is though.

I have no rattle either. It only moves if I push on it up or down. Not side to side. And I am happy with it.

The window on my Radius also has some play and it moves ever so slightly when I use my finger to push it up or down, but not side to side.

With that said, I believe this little bit of play is an engineering decision with regard to tolerances. Polycarbonate (like any other material) is porous and is therefore subject to environmental changes such as temperature, barometric pressure, and humidity. All materials "breath" (expand and contract) to some extent and some do so more than others. Without the tolerances engineered into any product that uses different types of materials (with different porous qualities) in the same assembly, the results can lead to stressed points where the materials join each other, causing cracking or other damage.

With regard to the bashing of certain users in these threads, please stop. I know some people are harder to get along with then others, but I really enjoy reading all of the Provape threads, and these attacks on certain individuals makes it less enjoyable (for me, anyway). Please consider that this is a global forum and that not everyone in every country or region shares the same social expectations or posses the same social skills that you do.

And now, for the obligatory emoticon:

In all seriousness, although I don't post often, I really do love this Provape family!

Willy, you're my hero and I'm aiming for your record. But why so many of the same model and why only the ones in the middle with tanks? I asked Zen the same question awhile back. He told me he only collected mods and not tanks. My OCD or whatever forces me to have more tanks than mods.

The 6 tanks in the middle are all the same Kayfun Lite v2+ ... those are different flavours I vape daily :vapor:

the rest are backup Provi

My Vapocalypse thinking ... one tank and one device ... no coils

Enough DIY eJuice to last ... like forever

I honestly look at it like this ... I got this stuff for free with quitting smoking :vapor:

the last 18 ProVaris I bought were under $40 each.
