I tried Rave's suggestion of trying again. This time after I logged out and then back in the social buttons stayed gone.
When I log off of ECF a box pops up saying the cookies have been cleared. Are those the cookies you meant? That did remind me though to clear the cookies from the browser itself, so I did.
I feel for you. had to replace transformer for my furnace yesterday. Its only 23 with the wind chill here so we are in a heat wave to what you have.

Hello, everyone! I admit, I didn't go through all 1341 pages of this thread. I am planning on getting a VOLT kit as soon as I get paid, though. I've seen the reviews and am convinced it's a good investment. My husband and I bought a kit from another supplier and are happy with it, but they are pricey and don't have as many flavors. Plus, they don't have the colored batteries I'm looking for! I'm dying for a pink and a purple battery! Those diamond tips look awesome, too!

Thanks to those who posted the info about unchecking the social networks on ECF. While I was at it, I increased the number of posts per page, and clicked to block the avatars. I have an oldie but goody PC and it made things a lot faster for me.
PS .... just got the Volt xl kit Friday and am lovin' it! Placed another order today.
Oh, yes, I know the feeling! I really think I'll be happy with the Volt!
Welcome TinaF1971 ! I went through an awful lot of unsatisfactory equipment too before I found the Volt. When you get your kit, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Someone always seems to be around on the thread or will see your question quickly that can give you a hand.

Don't think that I haven't caught on to Smokeless Image's brilliant plot. I understand completely what those bling tips are doing. When you gaze into them, you hear a faint, faraway voice saying "you are getting sleepy, verrrry sleepy". Next thing you know, you're pulling your credit card out yet again and saying:
"I ... will ... buy ... more ... stuff ... from ... Smokeless ... Image .... LOTS ... more"

After a couple of other brands, I settled on the volt too, and am glad I did. Great product and great people.
