If you mean that you want to use an 808 batt to a 510 carto - Yes, you can do that with an adapter. I've tried it, but Volt KR808 horizontal coil cartos are much better.

Ok, thanks for the tip. I assume the blank Volt cartos are the same as the pre-filled ones? 2.8 Ω and horizontal coil?
I have made this suggestion to several vendors so I will make it here also. Perhaps it would be a good idea for all of us to supply SI with a copy of our drivers license or other government form of ID to show we are over 18 years old. SI has the over 18 check on their website but this would be an additional safeguard for them. Just a suggestion.

You shouldn't have to refill every 5 minutes unless your vaping like a Hoover vacuum cleaner! LOL! I refill 6 cartos once a week. I'm not a chain vaper but the flavors make me want to. I try to keep it to the way I would normally smoke. Cartos I use at work and the tank at home.
There are "tanks" by several vendors out there and range from inexpensive ($6 mini-sub at Mom and Pops Vapor Shop) that use grommets, o-rings, and polycarbonate tube to very expensive milled stainless steel jobs. I have bought the milled Delrin and polycarb 3ml Liquinator for $24 and the MPVS mini-sub for $6 and preferred the MPVS. The Liquinator had no filler hole and the cartos they sent (3) were all defective. Mom and Pops Mini-Sub was simple but effective and works very well. Remember, a lot of tanks (most?) say they are for 510 but 808 cartos work just as well in them (same diameter) unless they are designed for Mega/XL cartos which are longer than standard. There are longer (jumbo/mega/xl) type cartos for the 808 at NHaler. MadVapes is another place to find good mods. Mine take standard length cartos and I've modified 2 Volt cartos for my tank. All you need is a blank carto with the label peeled and glue cleaned off and a 1/4" saddle valve to punch the holes. Two or three holes will do fine. A saddle valve is what the 'fridge uses to tap the water line for the icemaker (just google it). Once you see the valve, you'll get the idea. They are about $7 at any hardware store.

I've been away for awhile, Sandy; that was hysterical! What a great welcome-back.
My Dad's been bugging me about this so I figured I'd come here and ask the experts. Is it possible for someone to vape too much? I mean, will vaping too much actually give you more nicotine than cigarettes? I ask because my Grandma is vaping five 24mg cartos a day. And she's not just vaping half a carto and changing it out. These things are dry as a bone when I refill them. When she reads, she puts her volt to her lips and leaves it there (vaping with every breath) til she's done reading. It's freaky weird. So my Dad is worried that she's getting too much nicotine. I'm the one who orders her juice so if I can, I order a lower dose and just mark it 24mg before I give it to her. But I wasn't able to do that last time (and she ordered a 3 month supply). Can anyone help us out with this?
And by the way, please don't take this as a complaint. I'm so grateful for Volt because it's the only thing that's ever made her quit smoking (and it's helping me too!).

Yes, but it should be giving her headaches if it's too much. I smoked 18mg with analogs and had to settle at 12mg vaping due to nicotine migraines.
But that's just me......

If she vapes too much she will start to feel ill or get headaches. If she's not complaining of either she just may be one of those people that needs high amounts of nic.
I agree with both of the previous posters. If she's getting too much, it won't be comfortable, and she'll know it.
