we were just awaiting the new shipment before we had a sale....
I was hoping there'd be a sale by now so I could get my order before leaving on vacation :( I have exactly 1 carto fresh left again :( Guess I could have a pack sent to my mom's for when I get there.

Did you look closely at the picture? They have the old flat plastic end caps, so are probably the old-style cartos. That might explain the very low price. Yeah they'd work, but wouldn't be as good.

I can almost promise they aren't as good. I bought some from another vendor that looked like that cause SI didn't have any. Using Desert Joe in them they worked as good as SI for about 1-2 days. Then the draw started getting tighter real sudden like. If I don't put anything but DJ in a Volt carto I get somewhere around a week and they're still cooking ok but the taste gets a little funky. I've rinsed a couple out but the taste comes back quick. Don't think it was worth the effort. As I said before I'm too cheap to toss them and to lazy to clean them. The math just doesn't work out to it being worth worrying about. 1 carto divided by 5-7 days = a few cents including the juice in them. I can buy all I want for the price of a three packs of cigarettes which lasted me a day. But the price he was looking at I'd probably get a couple of packs if I were ordering from them. Backups if nothing else.

Here, there, everywhere!
Got a kit and some extra cartos ordered for his wife:)

Got home and ordered myself some blanks and smooth cartos (and more bling)!

Another coworker bought some little kit that has the old cartridges and I can't figure out what thread it even is. He can't get anything out of it hardly at all. I told him he should have talked to me first, he knew I vaped, so I am going to let him borrow one of my batts (maybe the pink one...LOL) and let him try a real ecig. Then if he likes he can buy a kit. He couldn't believe how easy I could draw on mine and how much vapor I get.

Imagine, I had a thought. SI seems to run out of stuff a lot. Have you considered getting larger quantities when you order from the manufacturer? It seems the cartos move fast enough that you could get double what you order and just not run out before it's time to get more. And the batteries would probably last long enough, too, to get double what you now get. Maybe also double up on some of the most popular liquids. Especially around the holidays, when you have sales, etc., you know you'll be getting lots of orders. It seems SI's biggest shortcoming is that they are often out of what people want. The customer service is great, the shipping is fast, the product is awesome, but if people can't get it, then they turn to other vendors. Just a suggestion, not a complaint.

Did SI put out a newsletter this week? I haven't received one in two weeks.

Y'know, I like it that SI doesn't flood us with newsletters. I get them from other companies (not e-cig companies) so often, they flood my mailbox and I keep thinking I should unsubscribe, even if they do sometimes offer sales, etc. I've never felt that way about SI's newsletters, and I actually read them, not just hit Delete, since they probably have pertinent info, since they aren't sent out as often, just to remind us to buy from them.

Yeah - That cheesed me off a bit.

"E-cigarettes may contain ingredients that are known to be toxic to humans or otherwise harm public health -- for example, if they are attractive to young people and lead kids to try other tobacco products, including conventional cigarettes, which are known to cause disease and lead to premature death."

We have been arbitrarily written off in spite of meeting and exceeding the number of signatures required. Grrrr....

What are the toxic ingredients they mention? Do they even know if there are any? I've wondered that myself. Not the nicotine, but the other stuff. Has anyone studied how safe it is? I know they say it's safer than analogs, but how safe is that? Do e-cigs actually lead kids to smoke analogs? How do they know?

I guess its sort of like neutraceuticals (things like glucosamine and chondroitin that help with arthritis). No one studies them much because they aren't produced by the big pharmaceutical companies, so who will pay for the research? I think they tried to outlaw those, too, since not enough research had been done, but the public made such a stink they decided not to.

this is the most frustrating thing we are going through at the moment. We definitely know it is an issue. Here is what is happening in a nut shell...

We are increasing our orders by double and triple.... yet we are outgrowing that pace everytime....so keeping up with the rapid growth is very tricky lol not a bad thing to complain about but it is causing some issues.... that and the manufacturing times have slowed every time we place a bigger order... originally our order times were much quicker ....as our orders expand so does production times.... add that to the mess China is having with customs you get our shortage issues.

So we can either through our hands up in the air or do what we are going to do in the new year....

We have placed an order that will basically keep us fully stocked through Jan-March it is an extremely big order. We will be taking shipping out of the hands of the factory and air freight it over directly to us....

So Please bare with us while we try and get all these kinks worked out... We are working on them :)
