Okay, next time I will store with the cap.... obviously a more convenient approach.

I just dumped everything except the PCC into the Volt box... works for me!

That worked for me at first, but i think you'll find your collection growing till not everything will fit in the Volt box anymore. Right now, all my stuff is in a large round tin. I bet that'll have to soon be replaced by something larger. BTW, those Volt boxes are really nice, aren't they? I wish they were large enough to store a good-sized collection, but then, if our collections keep growing, we'll have to get something bigger, anyway. Did you look at that link uncle posted that had people's vaping stashes? One guy had one of those big red metal toolboxes filled with stuff. What does he do with it all?

Doesn't the .... cap method of re-filling bother people... it's a pain to have the 'bottom' of the carto all greasy.

I never liked it, for the reason you gave plus I think it wastes too much juice LOL! Drops along the sides works for me.

BTW, to all, THANKS so much for being so responsive!! Great community!

So now, with a bunch of cartos re-filled... is it better to put caps on both ends for the 'steeping' factor and I guess no evaporation?

Edit: And smell, maybe?

I usually steep before I fill, but I keep caps and booties on (both ends) when stored to limit foreign materials getting in.

Just as an FYI: For anyone that needs "Antibiotics" and depending on what kind . . . there are a number of Supermarket Chains (and I think Wallmart/Kmart/Targets also) that provide them for free (BTW: "Stater Brothers" in CA does this) . . . Here in Florida - Pubix's not only offers them, they also offer "Metformin" (500-850-100 mg) for Diabetes and "Lisinopril" (which is an ACE Inhibitor) "used to prevent, treat, or improve symptoms of high blood pressure, certain heart conditions, diabetes, and certain chronic kidney conditions."

Again - Just thought people would like to know this . . . ;)

Good to know, thank you. In this case it isn't the basic sort of Amoxicillin or something, which is about $20. It is a special eye ointment. But for folks on a fixed or limited income, it's nice to know these places offer some sort of help.

I put both caps on. It took me a while to realize there are 2 different kinds of booties or condoms, whatever you want to call them. One has a little thingy inside, and that goes on the metal end, and the other is plain, and that goes on the side where you put (or didn't put) the end cap.

I filled new cartos with the condom method because I was afraid dripping from the top wouldn't entirely saturate the filler. When I just top off a carto with liquid in it, then I drip into the top. I thought I might waste juice, but very little got wasted, actually.

Continuing my random comments: Maybe in relation to the hand habits of analogs, can I presume that previous threads have addressed it is sort of FUN and fills the manual requirement to be messing about with the bits and parts?

I've always thought all the tinkering reminded me of pipe smokers. I remember a friend of my parents we visited when I was a kid, and he had a bunch of stuff for his pipe, little tools to pack the tobacco in, pouches of various flavors of pipe tobacco stored in a box, different pipes for different moods or tobacco or whatever ... Sound familiar?

Drug companies are nuts. And I'm sure the doctor had padded his cost to make a few bucks too. No wonder insurance is so expensive these days. (

I never quote myself but holy cow!! I just picked up the Taclonex prescriptions tonite (2 kinds) - where my co-pay is $0. The pharmacist says, you got a really good coupon there, without it these 2 would have been $1400.00 (this is a 1 month supply)
I nearly fainted. When this runs out I'll be asking the doctor for something different - I don't care if it works.

prescription drug costs make up 30% of ALL medical expenses in the US. when you know how big hospital bills are and etc... you realize how much money the drug companies are actually making...

I am glad ecigs did not turn into another pfizer money maker

More random stuff: This is the first evening I've really played around with the varied physical Volt parts. Generally impressed, and I'm a harsh critic. Thoughts:
* The wrap seam on the standard carto needs improvement.
* The USB dongle to wall charger is less tight than it should be.
* The USB pass-through is prone to tangles, and should be longer (and / or SI should offer an extension... relates to USB off of a computer versus a wall charger... see next).
* SI should dump the weak charger.
* SI needs to put up an extensive FAQ on the website, including a link to this thread in general and also pointing to specific posts.
* SI needs to HIGHLIGHT that Imagine is awesome (which includes a raise!).
* SI should use this thread as part of a social media marketing campaign.

I don't have enough thumbs to give the "thumbs up" for SI and Volt!!! :)

My co-pay for an albuterol inhaler is $44.00 for 200 metered doses. I went to the hospital last week to take a pulmonary function test and they gave me one metered dose during the test. The hospital pharmacy charged $394.00 for that puff and they used a spacer so they didn't have to give me the whole can. The drug companies are bad enough but the hospital was sure a lot worse.
