That is a very interesting color. I was thinking of white iridescence, like you see on some china. But the dark kind is even better, IMHO. I wonder if they can make Volt batteries in the color you showed.

Yeah I was looking for a picture of the white opal iridescence when I stumbled across that dichroic glass (boy did that smart!)

I've seen jewelry, wind chimes, etc. made from that treated metal. I'm sure a tube casing for the e-cig could be made, just not sure if the rubber coating could be applied. But if the metal had a matte finish so it wasn't too slippery, then I'd be happy with that too.

So Imagine, I bet you're wishing I'd just go away now, huh?

OK, I took a photo of a white iridescent plate I have. How do I post a photo here?

I found the easiest way to get one that can actually be seen is to upload them somewhere first, then copy the image URL here. I use Photobucket. Once it is uploaded there you can copy the URL and just paste that into your post here without doing anything special.

What kind of material would you consider to be e-cig friendly, Im partial to the rubber but for a skin that would get a little expensive and hard to make.

I've had pretty good success with ZAGG Invisishield for my iPhone, and they allow making custom skins by uploading just about any image... they don't make anything e-Cig friendly at the moment, but maybe they could be contacted by an e-Cig maker for a special arrangement...? I'm betting they might could come up with a pre-cut sheet of four or five that could be separated out for as many batteries, for maybe a couple bucks a battery. And if they could that with the image upload option for a couple bucks more... question is, would the market be big enough for them to bite?

OK, I uploaded it to Flickr. See Iridescent plate | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Very nice, that's just what I was thinking too. Maybe we need both kinds, this and the darker one

I know most of this is just wishful thinking. When the same thing was brought up in another thread there was a lot of interest, even the guys liked it. And since nobody else carries such a thing... just sayin' ;)

Most people would buy them if they were the right price, just about everything I own is personalized with my own thing. The more you use/love your item, the more youll want it to be your "own" Ya know?

The disposables I ordered came in today's mail. I know what people mean about stalking the mailman. I ordered 3 disposables, 510s, which are cigarette-like. They are a little heavier, so I found myself holding them more like a pen or pencil than the way I hold a cigarette. I liked vaping! It tastes great, though the smoke is a lot less than an analog, at least with these. I guess I have to learn to drag longer on it, which seems to generate more smoke. I ordered them in 3 different flavors to get a sampling of what kinds of tastes I might like: tobacco, coffee, and vanilla. I actually think I like the coffee the best. All 3 tastes are perfectly acceptable, though. I think the other flavors are more interesting than the tobacco. I'm thinking I might like to try something spicy like clove or cinnamon next. Maybe a fruit flavor, too. So from now on today, I'm going to try only vaping and see how long I can go w/o an analog. I always assumed I might still keep smoking, but so many people here say they managed to quit, that maybe it's possible. I'll just take it as it comes and see.

Anyway, the point of this message, other than to announce my initiation, is to say that I'm ready to order a Volt starter kit, but I'd like to wait till the new shipment comes in, unless it takes too long. Imagine, is there a good way to let me know ASAP? I wonder if 3 disposables (500 puffs each, they say) will last me, though if they don't, I guess I could just go back to total analogs till I get the Volt. BTW, I think vaping is great for another reason: When I smoke an analog, it's burning all the time, so I just keep smoking till I finish it. With these, I can take a puff or 2, then lay it down for a period of time w/o worrying about wasting a whole, expensive cigarette.

Anyway, that's my first experience, and now to wait till I can order a starter kit w/ black batteries w/ blue tips. Could I order now, and when they're in stock, have it shipped then? Please let me know if ordering stuff that's out of stock is possible or if I should wait till the shipment is actually in.

Then, maybe by the time the batteries in the starter kit die, you may have the opalescent ones. I'd like that. BTW, how long do batteries usually last before they have to be replaced?

hey sandysu congrats on starting! now u said u had to take long drags to get a decent amount of vapor compared to an analog. For those who has been using the volt, is this also true for you guys? I'm looking for an ecig where I can take just a 1 second drag, similar to a typical analog drag to get a good amt of vapor rather than those longgg 4 second drags u see people do on YouTube lol.

You can just check back here I will make postings about stock :)

We do not do pre-orders I am sorry...we don't like to sell anything that is not on our shelves in ohio :).

Batteries life varies depending on use...I would say you should get at least 6 months with heavy use.

I am a heavy vaper, The battery(78MM) lasted me today about 5 hours (why i bought 2) Charged in about 2 hours, I assume using them heavily will have effects on the overall battery life, 6 months sounds good to me, they arent expensive to replace, def cheaper than the 60 dollars I spent every two weeks on analogs, not to mention the taste. Youll love the Volt, their customer service is quick and really amazing lol, and no I dont receive anything from smokeless image, I just like them so much I promote them :p

I don't think there is such a vaporizer out there, it's kind of the nature of the product - this was one of my main sources of confusion when starting to research, seeing everyone take these loooooong drags, but I promise you will be doing it too, it's just how the sweet spot of the product works and you get used to it really fast, it just happens naturally. Now I too can look a little ridiculous vaping like the pros!

Yea that's what I've been hearing too. And yes all of this is pretty new to me. But would you think something like a low resistance cartomizer would allow you to take SHORTER vapes to get that same amount of vapor?
