Phew this is one massive thread, didnt think i'd get through it all, but i did and it was actually quite interesting to learn the background of the company, growths and all the inbetweens.
.... Hi everyone , im mel, i'm not new to vaping , its been about a year and 3ish months for me, soley a dripper. First heard about the volt's through the vapebabe n steeljan. Vapebabe posted a picture of the new battery's on facebook and i fell in love with the colours. Then the lightning bolt hit me when i saw SJ's vid on the pcc--**^^ ohmy i fell in love at first sight.
Haha its crazy what a bit o colour does to a girl.
I just needed to have it, its just so trekkie, and something where i dont have to carry a whole heap of this n that for a simple day of vaping..... anyways just wanted to say hi and hello and now i wont seem so creepy , ( posted a poem) it explains it all LOL
hmmmm well voltie is not here yet, should be soon :) waves
P.s must mention vapian that is one killer editing vid, made my day :)
Oh, cool - all the way from Australia! Before you, I think I was the last sucker to read through the whole entire thread. Now, haha, it's YOU! Welcome, reptilr!

Charging one at a time is fine with me. I'd like to be able to get 2 full charges on 78mm batteries. I don't store batteries with a carto attached, but it would be nice to be able to put cartos in the case with the 'booties' on, which can't be done right now (the top won't slide shut over them). Ideally they'd have their own slots, but I'd settle for putting them in the 2nd battery slot. As Vapian said, the clamshell design was fine for thickness, plus you could carry 2 cartos with the booties on.

But if the only real change here is just a better internal battery, then I'll still pass and wait for another design.

Just my :2c: for what it is worth  : I agree here, especially when I'm on the road or out all day long ;-). . . I would really preferr a PCC that will carry at least 2 78mm batteries and be able charge them :thumb: fully, especially when there is no other source of electricity . . . like at the beach/pool, or in NYC and I'm riding the Subway or buses or taking a flight somewhere and need to charge/re-charge batteries to have ready for when I get to where I'm going :headbang:.

In addition, given that I will probably need enough prefilled "cartos" with me also  - I would prefer to have them in the case like the Mega PCC or have something like those little plastic cases (Hint Hint) to make carring cartos a little easier in my pants pockets ;), like I already have from another venor.

Welcome reptilr! Love your kittie!!!

Hi n thx for the warm welcomes.... Said kitty in picture is teddie, my nearly 2yr old boy who keeps on growing and is bigger than a jack russel almost. I also have a 12yr old girl Toodie.

Welcome reptilr, kudos to you for reading the whole thread, I can't even keep up with the stuff I missed after a couple of days!

and I have to ask - are you a herpetologist?

I had time to burn , two teeth taken out on friday by surgery and this thread got me through :).
No not a herp..err... but i do own an eastern blue tongue lizard named Thomy after my favourite mayonaise lol. He's 3 years old and about 50cm in length.
He's in pictures in my profile.

Hey imagine !!! Nice to see you in the threads having some fun, i dont see alot of that these days and its nice to see.
Hope there wasn'nt too much damage with the quakes i've been hearing about them on the news. Take care xx

The battery sticker mod looks awesome, i had to take a screen capture of it, reminds me of the skittles rainbow. You would think i would be remembering some names, but my memory is failing me at this minute.
Off to have some dinner , ill drop by later, :) have a good rest of the evening/ morning folks

I just cleaned a batch the other day and it worked great. Found a youtube video and followed along...

I have a syringe that has an odd looking plastic end that a carto happens to fit in perfectly btw. $3 at CVS.

First i put the cartos in a bowl and poured boiling water over them and let it sit for 20 minutes.

Fill another bowl with boiling water (poured from the electric kettle, not still boiling in the bowl obviously).
Insert carto into plastic end on syringe. place end of carto in the clean hot water, pull on the syringe to flush water through.
Turn and empty syringe through carto into sink.
repeat 4-5 times per carto.

Blow out each carto until no more water comes out.

place in baking dish and "bake" at 175* for 2 hours.

fill and vape.

worked for me!

Hopefully, the You Tube video you saw was our own "Vapians" Video :D and his invention the "Cartomizerfillinator" and cleaner, which you can read and even find more information about here on this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/200782-cartomizerfillinator.html

Hopefully, if you didn't see his video someone will post the direct link for you so you can view it . . .;) it is really good . . . IMO :D

Matter of fact, if you get a chance you should read the "lolday" blogs they are full of information and absolutely a GREAT ! ! ! read . . . she talks about "Vapian" and his "stuff" . . . You can find them here: E-Cigarette Forum - they gave lolady a blog and now look! - Blogs . . . Hope all this information is helpful for you

Hee hee, we just had one here in San Francisco a couple of minutes ago. I don't even bat an eyelash at them now. we just rock and roll all the time over here!

YEP View attachment 50934 - that's what I've heard from my brother who lived in SF and got use to them too . . .

AND - Matter of fact, I felt a few of those little ones over the years when I lived in NYC, NJ, and PA that I never really got to upset or that nervous myself , although I was concerned at times, especially when your fifty stories up in the air swaying from side-to-side - lots of FUN ;) . . .

So, my dog somehow managed to get his paws on my brand new pink volt battery. He decided it would be an EXCELLENT chew toy and teethed the thing all up, pulled off the LED cap AND the LED from the inside and bit the thing to shreds.

I was devastated. I picked up my poor pink battery, pressed the manual button one last time to say goodbye and to my great surprise?

....the thing still works.

The volt battery survived a mauling by a dog. Now that's a tough little battery! I'm hesitant to use it due to it being beaten to hell.... and the whole dog slobber thing, though.

I agree, that's an awesome collection all nice and coordinated. I really like the gold (hint hint!!) So what "green" juice flavor will fill that spot? Too bad there isn't a Mint (hint hint!!!)
Thanks! What flavor for the green? LIME, of course!! You put the lime in the coconut ....

OOOooh - DISlike! That's a heart-breaker - so sad. Since it is apparently still working, could you possibly give it a makeover with some contact/shelf paper? Also, to replace the gray ash cap, you could pick up a little bag of inexpensive 9mm flat back acrylic jewels at Walmart. They are usually in the kid's craft section. The battery L.E.D. can actually shine through the silver coated bottom. A dab of glue on the circuit board has never hurt any batts that I've added jewels to, and will keep the jewel in place.
