What the hell, we don't have our own subforum yet?? I just keep thinking it'll be any day now, it will be so much easier to communicate with each other in that format, won't it? Questions will get the best possible answers, fluff can be topic-specific, Uncle can have his own thread where everyone can only write in emoticons, Laura can have her own thread where we all post pics for her to prove it happened, and we can have a Glitch thread to discuss who is or is not learning Focused Meditation, naming pigs and buying virtual real estate. Stock updates and new merchandise will be easy to look up instead of poor Imagine having to post stuff 6 times to make sure we all get the message, lol thanks Imagine!

ps my carpet is outta here in the spring, you have inspired me to get off my .... and put some wood down guys.

I guess I'm weird, but I sort of like everything mixed up together. Sure, questions that have already been asked are asked again, but if we have subtopics, can I keep up with them all? Probably not. I guess this change worries me a little, that we'll lose the spirit we have here, but I'll adjust somehow. What if we had a subforum with basics covered, questions commonly asked -- a FAQ. And then this mixed-up one where all sorts of topics are covered, from what our favorite flavors are to videos of our favorite music. When we go off topic, things get funny and entertaining, and I'd hate to lose that, mixed in with serious tech stuff and wishes for new products.

LOL - What would YOU rather do: Scrap frost off of a windshield and go Home Depot shopping or play games with PV's?

It works BTW - Pretty tasty as well.

VoltWithFoam.jpg

I'll go ahead and send those 901 atties out to ya though. Us Volties have to stick together. :)
play games with PV's no doubt:D
That is neat work you did there.
K I look forward to them and you will get your volts out soon at SI gets my sky in sealed ;) <3

Simply put - I agree . . . What's been happening here since I started at ECF - is one of the major reasons I stay around. The conversations surrounding SI and The Volt, the sharing of information - be it about SI/Volt or anything else, learning about each one of the people here - including laughing with them about themselves and the most inane subjects . . . And even those moments when the "Drama" happens, and we hopefully agree to disagree with each other - it seems "We" (the "Volties" - "Volters" whatever we are calling ourselves today) always stick together and have each other's back - No matter what . . . It Just Makes This Thread ! ! !

Oh and just in case you didn't know - that is just my opinion & my :2c: on the subject and I'm stickin' to IT . . . ;)

yes we take orders over the phone...if you get voicemail just leave a message and we will call back to take the order :)

Yes, SI should make a way for those w/o the Internet to be able to order. Couldn't they phone in an order and use a credit card? But how would they know what's available? A print catalog? Availability of the merchandise changes so often, and there are always so many new things, that a printed catalog would be outdated as soon as it came off the presses.

Actually if you look at the top of their site they have both a U.S. and a U.K. side. Click on the U.S. side and then the 20% off coupon at the top left before you shop. They ship U.S. out of San Diego California. I used to do a lot with them before I switched to SI and the 808s. Last thing I bought from them were some 510 to 808 adaptors so I could use my old 510 manual bats to burn off any overfill before I put it on my auto Volt. Also if a carto is starting not to produce I can vape the rest of the juice out of it with the fat manual bats before tossing it.

The reason I haven't been around much is after the "upgrade" this forum has been a royal pita. The pages bounce several times while loading the fb, auto save and google junk and if I click too quick to move through it I get the do you want to navigate away message to click off. At first I thought they would fix the bugs but after reading the threads on it it seems they're trying to tell users how to adjust their computers or which browsers to use to fix the forum, which I have no intention of doing. I don't even know if they're working on it anymore or if this is as good as it's going to get. Also the auto save thing seems to make this pane a pain to use for more than a quick reply sometimes so I usually just check it and read occasionally but don't post much. The text is bouncing around now as I type this so I'm going to end my rant. I'm still here though, just not as active or as often.

That stinks - you're missed. I still get the occasional pop up, but it's not as bad as it was, and I don't have text bouncing all over, that really would be a pita. Hope they get the bugs worked out so everyone can play.

Very aptly stated and I couldn't agree with you more. It would be great if we could have a separate thread for coupon codes because I cringe just empathizing with the person trying to sift through this thread for the most current code. But for the most part, I think that the mixed Volt and personal stuff makes for a pretty entertaining read - and I think a lot of us have bonded because of it. One thing I would NOT want is for us to have to open separate threads for each random chit chat element. The sharing would disappear entirely. I like the jumble.

Ah ok I figured there was a time limit somewhere. Its strange theyre only a week or two old and I refilled them last night, vaped on them to see how my mixes were (all SI juice too) and they were just super burnt tasting. I showed my bf who also said they were a bit burny. So weird how they were working perfectly fine 10 seconds before I refilled :p

However I have no thoroughly cleaned any of them.
Possible this will solve my issue?

Also has anyone tried adding a touch of baking powder to the water when boiling them? I was thinking this would really get out some of the deeper residue. Good idea/bad idea?
You could try Taryn spinning the burnt/freshly filled ones too. Maybe the liquid is just stuck. Happens.
Haven't tried baking powder, but have had some luck with baking soda. Just don't put in too much. It builds up in the batting. I would rinse it really well too. Last time I did that, I had flashbacks of when I sanded drywall without a mask!

...don't see why a subforum couldn't have its own "jumble" thread... it could be our "hi everybody, just checking in" thread...or our own "lounge"...

I agree in theory - but how many of us have come to this thread to ask a Volt question, and then stuck around because it was so much fun here and you made friends with existing Volties? Would that be as likely to happen if there were separate threads? I'm afraid we would have less newcomers that stick around if we separate things in such a way. I dunno - just my thinks messin' around.

I agree. What we have really works for a complex combination of reasons, and I fear if it was significantly broken up, we'd lose it.

There's newsletters and coupons? lol. I get so lost, I had no idea. This is a fun Thread, but, yes, a bit overwhelming for finding tidbits. I must admit though, I've felt right at home each time I've jumped in with a question or a holler. The responses are quick, and the info is clear.

Off to find that newsletter ...
