Wanted to say "THANK YOU"

I live in Perth, Western Australia - ordered 2 of the starter kits (one for myself) and one for my mother for christmas. They were shipped on the 17th of Nov, and arrived today! Absolute dream to use, and the RY4 - absolute yum! My Mom is vaping mine as we speak, and already talking about buying herself one! Needless to say I think I will be in the good books over Xmas :)

Thankyou Imagine! I love the Volt!
Yeah, you've gotta be careful about lending your Volt stuff out for people to try - it often gets "adopted!" WELCOME! :)

Keep them coming I'm itching for a buy.
This sale is burning me, my sealed colors not in yet....
I'll miss out on not only another sale but "the" sale of all sales ....
Can you hear me screaming inside? LOVE MY VOLTS!

Breathe Adrena, breathe .... slowly now ... that's right .... it'll be okay. Imagine, you best get the sky blue in soon or she may pop a gasket.

My daughter is now an official Voltie. She was going crazy with 510's and just tired of messing with 'em. She loves the Volts (especially the simplicity of operation and maintenance) and SI's RY4 and Vanilla and 555. The sale came just in time for me to order some cartos and nicquid for her and still stay within her budget. Thank you so much for the sale!!

I feel your pain, Adrena -- I'm in the same place (c'mon gold, copper, c'mon gold, copper . . . ) :p

But I also need more blank cartos (yikes, I'm turning into a "Juice Junkie" :(), and there's always Christmas . . . I cannot imagine SI failing to have a Christmas sale (right, Imagine? :))

I thought i would share with everyone just a couple of photos of "My" Thanksgiving Celebration with My Extended Family that I hope you find interesting. It is at my friends home in New Hope PA that use to be a "Wood Mill" on the Delaware River. Most of the art work and furniture is made by my friend Tom Galbraith who died 2 years ago. BTW: This place was shown on HGTV's Extreme Homes a few years ago too.

First a Photo of "The Mill" . . .

2hp3nfd.jpg

Then the "THE GANG" . . .

oa7uoz.jpg

This is a shot of the Main Table, that is in front the "Rose Stain-glass Window". The table and the lightening fixture are both made from a tree root (with the center made of semi-precious stones) and the chairs are 2" Wood and Glass.

2uzbk85.jpg

And set for Dinner with part of "The Gang" . . .

ohquz6.jpg

Then after the Frost year when we had 25 people around the main table Tom built the second out of Semiprecious stone on a "Bent Plastic" base that light's up from under (Once it was lighted up, it got so hot there was no need for a "Hot Plate" to keep our food warm   ) . . .

2i6zht.jpg

Last - but not the least, is "Crystal's" reaction after all was done and dinner was over . . .

Hope You Enjoyed ! ! !

Amazing place!! It looks like the kind of home that I'd love to explore and savor slowly. I've been to New Hope, PA many times because I used to exhibit my paintings at the Bucks County Wildlife Art Exhibit at the Eagle Fire House every year. It sounds like you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving with good friends. :)

I don't think you'll want to do that even if you could. The SI batteries require 5vdc output on the charger to charge correctly, and I believe the RN4081 is 4.2vdc - I could be wrong though...

Edit: I'm wrong, both my RN4081 charger and SI charger have an output of 5vdc at 500mA - but still, I wouldn't try it

Just to add my :2c:, I've been charging Volts in a Joye510 10-hole multicharger using battery extender adapters for months. These are the black enamel adapters with gold-tone connections that were created so that you could safely charge manual batteries in a charger without the button getting in the way. No problems at all - That's what they're made for. Frankly, I have more problems with the USB-type chargers than with this setup. This way - I can use the same multistrip to charge my eGo batts, my Volts, and my daughter used to be able to charge her 510's when she visited. They look like this:

Got a lot more pictures of the place I could send or post if you want . . .

AND - it was very enjoyable - everyone pitched in to get everything ready, so it made it very easy to feed over 20 people at one time. Which also allowed EVERYONE to have FUN. AND a long story - short - Thanksgiving was also the formal "re-entry" that Cindy was moved back in to her HOME, after spending the past 5 years in the house on the property taking care of her mother (who dead 3years agaon) and then Tom for another 2 years there . . .

BTW: When was that Rave - one of the placs I lived off and on was New Hope, PA and was involved with the Art Community there, especially the yearly Big Art Shows - maybe we actually meet in person, now wouldn't that have been a HOOT ! ! !

Well, the last year that I was capable of showing was 2004, and it was generally the first weekend of December at the Eagle Fire location (indoors). So - The last time I woulda been there would have been December of 2003. There were usually about 30-40 wildlife artists selected to exhibit from all of the country.

My booth (and I) would've looked like this (minus the black panther).

Wouldn't that be trippy if we'd met before and didn't even realize it?! Another hint: I always wear a headband.

Well - Let's put it this way, I cannot recognized the photo of you, however I was to many diffferent Art exhibits/auctions at the Firehouse. AND since my Family and I lived in the area since 1972, I was to many shows at the Firehouse- SO I am sure we have had to meet at least once - YAY ! ! ! !

Matter of fact, the Mill (marked in this map) is only a few blocks form the Firehouse (which is right behind the New Hope Shopping Center in this Google Map).

Google Maps

It looks like you going to have to plug-in the address:
56 Buttonwood Street, New Hope, PA

It's a small world, isn't it? Well, I'm sure it was a pleasure to meet you; but if I met you now, I'd give you a huge hug! ;)

What a cool place! :D I could spend hours looking at all of the photos, furniture and decorations. The houses back East have so much character and life, so unlike the homes in the area where I live. My SIL and I went to New Hope once to go shopping and have lunch. I would love to go back there again.

From the looks of it, you had a great time. Even the kitty looks content and happy. :) Thanks for sharing these photos!
