Wow. That's the exact opposite of what I've always assumed. Growing up, they always told us to put batteries in the freezer, to "keep them fresh" until you needed them. Am I the only one?

No, I heard this, too. I guess it's not so? Or maybe the older kind needed to be cold but the newer kind don't like it?

Only Imagine can really answer this, but my guess is that the popularity for their products has grown so fast, they are having trouble keeping up. I think they are really trying to keep supplied, but think of what increasing production involves. They have to deal with some factory in China that may not be able to just increase production at a whim. They probably have to hire more people and maybe even buy more machinery. And the supplies to make the products may not be there in increased volume. So I think in time, SI will get up to speed, but it's a company that is growing fast, and I think that's probably a real challenge, though certainly the good kind of challenge. Maybe you should find flavors your husband likes at other companies and order some of them and some of SI's. That way, if one runs out, the other may have stuff.

Thank you, SandySu, but I think you misunderstand. I get that it's hard to keep everything in stock, but it took a couple of months of waiting for stock to come in before I could make my first order. This order was my third within a few weeks, and we've been assured at least a few times on this thread that this particular giant order that they just got in would solve all the stocking problems. It just so happens, the little novelty purchase I wanted was one of the few glitches they ran into this time around.

In the meantime, I am working very hard to find flavors and options that he likes - I have got no fewer than 19 flavors steeping right now - unfortunately, it's a slow process. He's very picky and he's not vaping full time - so he only tries one flavor every few days (and the 19 have a couple more weeks to steep). I was THRILLED that he found TWO flavors through SI that he liked well enough to say that he could "see them" helping him quit analogs forever. Why was I thrilled? Because I'd like to be able to rely exclusively on SI products for ease, convenience and product reliability.

I guess don't feel that there's anything wrong with expecting the products that my husband has come to rely on to curb his addiction to be available when he needs them. I understand growing pains, but if they (or any company) wants to continue to grow and not lose customers, they need to get a handle on growing pain issues as soon as possible. The way they do that is exactly what they are doing - listening to honest feedback and taking action accordingly.

I'm sorry if my honest feedback was offensive to some that are fiercely loyal to the company. I'd like to be loyal too and I'm working toward that, but meanwhile, my loyalty is to him and getting him off ciggarettes, so that he is healthier and better able to fight the cancer.

Peace.

Thanks, kblush500! I really wanted to see the review and started watching, only to see the 2 hour time. I just didn't have time to go through the whole thing. I appreciate having a starting point!!! You ROCK! :)

That was very nice of you to say! :) P.S. I like your "mama bear" caring for your husband.

I started giving mine away in the Treasure Chest thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...pif-group-treasure-chest-revised-edition.html so other people can enjoy them! Different strokes for different folks! :) Experimenting with them by blending them with other flavors is also an option!

Unfortunately only US residents can enjoy them...Rules at PIF Treasure Chest, because of the increased cost of shipping abroad...Of course, there is a possibility that someone outside US can enjoy them too if he has a US address for the items to be sent to (and then be forwarded to him).
The funny thing is that usually people outside CONUS may have a bigger need to try them since a lot of US suppliers do not ship internationally - not SI, that is why we love VOLT!!!
Suppliers often have some inexpensive sample packages but these are not available to non US residents due to shipping restrictions...

My Pleasure - Really . . . :) (Matter of fact, even with all the support I have, especially from everyone here on ECF - I Wish I had someone like you right now, especially since I am still having problems finding my "Sweet Spot" :( )

AND - As someone who is in the "Behavioral Modification" Field (wierd ain't it) and even Created and Facilitates a "Bereavement Support Group" for people to learn how to cope with difficult situations as they arise and "Reclaim" their "Verve Of and For LIFE" . . . the one thing I've learned personally & professionally and try to reaffirm for people is the need to let others know, especially about what you are feeling and your emotions . . . because 1) no one will know unless you tell them - you do have a voice and 2) if you don't let people know - then thing are going to get worse - not better . . .

AND - IMO - the same can be said about almost anything that happens in your life, especially any problematic situation . . .

To Know is Knowledge . . . :)
And even it is something you don't want to know :( . . .
Knowledge is always a good thing - because then you can make a decision and take back control . . . :D

Just a thought and My :2c: . . . :D

Uncle, what you shared about letting your feelings be known and taking back power by doing that and that knowledge is good even if it's something you wouldn't want to know really helped me in my daily life today. I made a decision to do just that last night but was worried if I made the right choice and you reaffirmed that I did. thank you for sharing!! :)

Ditto what kblush500 said, Uncle! Since Rob's diagnosis, we have been in a veritable tailspin - giving up control left, right and sideways. It's only been very recently that we made a conscious choice to take back the power and control we had and start being honest about how we felt about what was happening to us. It's been very liberating, albeit a bit scary. Thank you for all that you do for poor sods like us!! :)

Thanks, Imagine. It never made it as far as PO'd, though. Just frustrated. It helped to have this thread to come here and gripe too. I still love SI and all ya'll. ;) You can ask Brian - I was joking with him about it. It's all good.

I'm sorry you took it wrong, too. I understand your frustration, and I'm glad you got the items you really needed. I was trying to explain SI's position, since I understand how hard they are working to give us all what we need and want. I also understand your position of not wanting to run out and have your husband go back to analogs. I commend you on all the time and effort you've taken to encourage him to quit. Like Uncle, I wish I had someone like you helping and encouraging me, though I do like the shopping part.

Does anyone know how to post in the clasifides once your verified??
I wenbt through the whole verification thing and i dont see a way to post in there still? (and it says verified next to my name)

I do not know if you know about this or not - However ECF has a section just for "National Forums" here . . .

National Forums

. . . that includes so many different Continents and Countries of Our World

By any chance have you checked out the "Canadian Forum & Thread" here: Canada Forum

They even have a "Classified Thread" too here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/canada-forum/255007-canada-classifieds.html

AND - On the possibility that you can - Maybe "You" could start a PIF Thread for "Canadians" - Persoanlly I think that would be GREAT ! ! ! :D

Oh and BTW: There is even a section for Europe ;)
