Hi, Im the proud owner of a new Volt kit. I have to say, Its AMAZING.
Only one complaint, and i wish i had none but i do :( I have a bat that came with the kit thats holding about a half hours worth of charge. Now, i cant be without 2 batt's, If i only have one, i will definately fall off the wagon and to me thats not an option. The broken battery is enough for me to take a hit here and there till my other is charged(about 1 1/2 hours). But heres the catch with customer service. They want me, to send them back the batt and they will send a new one. Unacceptable. That would leave me at the mercy of the analog's, they are only a block away and i do not want to goto that store for anything, let alone Cigs because i have only one Batt till i get the other.

As i stated Smokless Image is by far the best company ive delt with before my purchase. They answered every question without much time passing, and have even called when they didnt recieve a response from me right away.

But please, i hope someone can help me with this batt thing. I cant go back to analog's even if its for a few days. If i tell my wife i need to do that, It will cause much unneeded stress and make her question my whole ecig addventure. She doesnt understand that after the startup costs, i truely will be saveing money.

Thanks all:
Harry:)

wow that is now at least 3 separate people complaining about a faulty battery, that is a shame!! You know I would be in an even worse position as a first time user if this happened to me as I live in Australia and postage takes WEEKS! Yes up to 3 weeks for them to receive the faulty battery and then post me back a replacement, that would mean 6 weeks trying to get by on one battery? I dont think so I would find another supplier of batteries immediately if that is what I would face! Thankfully as I said before I have now 6 batteries in total so I could afford to do that with one, but not a first time ex smoker placing first order omg!. I think SI might need to change their exchange policy on 1st orders to if they don't receive the faulty back they deduct the cost from the next order or some other honesty policy I don't know but people who are first time customers should be expecting decent quality stock without the stress of having to send things back and waiting weeks for a replacement! What is going on?

Hi, Im the proud owner of a new Volt kit. I have to say, Its AMAZING. It does as described and far beyond it. It produces vast amounts of vapor, its easy to use(sealed batt's) Refilling the empty prefilled's is a snap. Its everything i wanted and more.
Customer service is second to none and have been very helpful.

hate to suggest it since you have just shelled out for your first starter kit and have one dud battery, but I Highly recommend you order a new battery ASAP you need at least 3 IMHO to keep you going as a new quitter, and the replacement battery would probably turn up after you ordered your replacement. I know it doesnt make it right that you have only one battery working right now but its better and cheaper than buying a packet of smokes. When the replacement you bought turns up then send off your dodgy battery and you should get that back free of charge. I have more than 3 to keep me going. Just a suggestion of course.

Now tell us what you really think MegaBee. :p

Just ordered my Volt pro starter kit with the mega pcc v2. Kind of excited..kind of nervous. My buddy got his today. I tried it. Iffy at first but I just couldnt put it down. The only thing is that it had a weird plastic smell to it. Pretty sure it was the plastic tip on the carto that was throwing me off. I'd like to get a drip tip but I don't know about the SI drip tips because they are a flexible rubber material (as stated on the site) and I really want to avoid that smell/taste. What drip tips other than those designated for KR808's will work with the Volt? Any drip tip suggestions?

I like people who speak their mind. I do too! I really don't know what the deal is with the batteries, but I'm having battery problems too. I just didn't say anything because I thought I was the only one. :(

Yeah, me too! I thought I was vaping like a jack rabbit :) Well, I am a chain vaper but all my other batteries lasts much longer...

Mornin Gee and Retriever. Just catchin up before I start breakfast. Sunday I cook and wake my wife up when it's ready. I don't know what the rash of battery problems is all about but I hope yours come in good. I had one defective one when I first started and they said send it in. The switch was hanging up and burning the cartos. The replacement came quickly. I'm using the same batteries I started with back in July last year, daily, and haven't noticed any diminished performance. I don't have any of the sealed batteries but I bought a few more of the unsealed ones when they were closing out on sale. I gave my niece a kit with the older style and she hasn't had any problems either. Recently I helped a friend start vaping here and she's got the newer ones with no problems. All of these are autos.

Good morning Wuzznt Me! Yeah, the battery gremlins have taken over Voltville! Glad yours are working. Mine just have very little life to them, almost as if they were weak. Not at all like when they were new, just 3 months ago.

Good morning Wuzznt! That is such good news to hear, I hope that it is the same for me. And I feel so badly for those who are having issues...and hope they get fixed quickly. I may or may not be in the same boat very shortly.
So you are using the manual batts? I didn't order any of those. If all goes well with this order, and I like enough to stay with Volt (and I hope I do) I will have to try some of them next month.
A question...
*It wasn't your fault that a couple of cartos got burnt. Did they offer to replace them too? (Or did you ask)

And Thank you for letting us know normal battery life! This is a question I've had too, and hoped a seasoned vet would give an answer :)

No manuals. All mine are auto and no, they didn't replace the cartos. I didn't ask or anything either. I hope all goes well with yours. I have manual batteries, Ego,Riva and a couple of mods but no volt manuals. I had already been vaping for a few months before I discovered Volts and bought mine and my wife's hardware based on recomendations in the newcomers forum. As far as I'm concerned the Volts were an upgrade once I found them and I could have saved a lot of money had they been recommended. I still use my other stuff sometimes, mostly for thick juices, but my all day and go to is the Volt.

Maybe a good cleaning is all my batteries need. I will try that and see if it helps.

Don't stop when you clean just the batteries. Clean the charger too. I use alcohol swabs from Wally's pharmacy, near the bandaids, and a toothpick or dental pick to get down in the groove and keep on until they come clean. Charging dirty batteries on a clean charger = dirty charger.

Breakfast was delicious. Rib bacon (with bones) sausage and buckwheat pancakes, scratchbuilt. Burp. Gotta get ready for Church now.

I have more than 8 VOLT batteries but I can't seem to keep them alive! After a months use they slowly faint..Now I use only 3 of them (bought on January) since the others are close to death.
What is the average life expectancy of them if someone is using them daily? Is a months limit normal?

I sure hope not, They arnt as cheap as one thinks. If you have to shell out $12 each one or more a month Plus carts(or bottles of juice, and blanks if prefilled's go ommf) then this is in no way cheaper than going to the Indian rez and grabbing a #22 bag of 250 cigs.

I hope Smokless Image sees this and makes things right. I hear they will be supplying another supplier of EF eith their products. Both companies surely dont want to have this problem i wouldnt think.

My thought on this, They should send me a Batt, when i get it, and its fine, they get their batt back. Isnt like they are useing it. Hey also, can someone tell me how to subscribe to threads im interested in? I changed my sub notification to dailie email, but dont have a clue how to Sub a thread.
