Thanks everyone, I suppose we don't really know if vaping is safer than smoking when pregnant, i think I will just let her know that it might not be safer and hopefully she will try to quit altogether. I know she is in pain after stopping her tramadol though so I think smoking is all she has at the moment. I will just let her keep the volt though, I don't think vaping could be any worse.

I think, if you extrapolate from other nicotine replacement therapies like the patch, which have been studied, that it's probably safer. Note: Probably. It would be better to quit altogether, but vaping is probably better than smoking analogs. The only other thing we don't know is what effect inhaling VG, PG, and whatever goes into the flavors may have.

Amazon.com: Brother PC-Connectable Label Maker with Auto Cutter (PT-2430PC): Office Products

This is the best price I could come up with, but they show that there are 6 Used that are available for a much lower price.

Here's what my labels look like:

Yeah, that's the one I have in my AZ shopping cart, but the used doesn't save that much when you add on the $6 shipping cost, think I saw $27.5 but with $5.99 ship it's $33.49, so only $7ish less than new...

Amazon was selling the item before Christmas and that's when it was like $29, not sure if they''ll get it in again, currently it's all third party sellers that have it. But I've looked at other sites as well and this still seems the best price. Haven't checked ebay though.

Just as a follow-up to Rave and as an FYI:

Here is what I do when looking for a "Cheaper Price" . . . I always "Google" things like this and find Prices from all over my area and the Internet. After doing that I find the least expensive store that sells the item and the store with a "Price Matching Policy" with a meet and/or beat in my area that sells the same item (can be done in store or on-line or with a call) - Then do "My" Bargaining . . .

Example:

1) "Googled" Brother pt-2430pc - Link: https://www.google.com/search?q=PT-....,cf.osb&fp=1d5b7ddef3ed965f&biw=1028&bih=536

2) Scroll down to the Price List - Link:Brother P-Touch 2430PC B/W Thermal transfer printer - 1 rolls

3) Find least Expensive Price - B&H Photo (NYC) $ 37.95 and Also see sold at JR . Com (NYC) $ 39.99; Office Max $ 39.99; Office Depot $49.99 . . .

4) JR . com - Called: Will meet Price & Free Shipping; Office Depot/Office Max - Called/Went to Store: Will meet Price (Do not know about Shipping).

Hope this information is helpful to some . . . :D

EDIT: OH BTW: For those interested - I saw a Hand held Label Maker at a local Thrift Store for Sale the other day - It worked and was available for under $10 . . . :)

Did you buy it? Do you want to label your cartos? How do you do it?

No (I think I want the one Rave has - Just can't afford it right now) . . .

YES . . .

Don't know yet, although I have used a labeler before. Got frustrated with it, because I couldn't get the backing off to apply them on object without destroying the labels . . .

I read a bunch of reviews of different kinds, and that was a complaint on some models, but with mine, they said you could peel the backing off easily. The main complaint was that every time you print, you waste an inch of the tape. Some people offered fixes for this, i.e., changing the margin to "narrow" and chain printing and using the feed button after printing. I guess once I have cartos to label, I'll be busy figuring out how to use it.

Yeah, that one looks pretty good, and a bit cheaper...also has the gold on black labels :)

I think that most in this line have quite an assortment of different label types. The one that SandySu picked out doesn't have the capability to choose just any graphic you like to put on the label (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong SandySu). Also - I'm not sure, but does that one have the ability to store labels on a PC so that you don't have to recreate them? I realize that you can store 10, and that would be enough for a lot of folks, but that wouldn't cut it for me.

Good morning everyone waving smiley-1.gif

Pizza Bread Sticks? Did I read that right? lol Where you get that?

You did read it right. lol From Eric at DiscountVapors here on ECF. He makes the nicquid and if you think you might like savory, give it a go. I had a Parmesan Cheese I liked also which is why I gave this a try. It's a nice change. :)

Cinnacide? Sounds dangerous, like homicide or suicide or maybe cyanide.

It is dangerously good. On days when everything else seems meh, cinnacide always works! Like mint or menthol revives the taste buds but sooooo much more enjoyable imo. I know there are a couple other volties who have requested a cinnamon and I'm backing them all the way! Not for everyone but, I like strong flavors.

Mine wastes about 3/4" for every one. *planned wastefulness, I'm sure - grrrr*

Backing comes off easily though. I've even been able to remove labels to use them for new cartos. Love this thing!

You are right about the limited capabilities, but I decided to go cheap and simple, but not the cheapest model, which had the label-peeling problem. I don't mind re-creating labels every time I want to label a carto. How many would I need to do, anyway? The bottles and cartos I have now are all labeled. If at some point I find this is too simple a machine for me (unlikely, since I hate having to figure out high-tech stuff) maybe I can sell it to another newbie who wants to label their stuff.

Rave - {{{{{{{{{{{{ HUGS }}}}}}}}}}} :D

Oh, I'll be fine. Just bein' a drama queen. Yesterday I skipped my anti-seizure prescriptions so that I could drive to get groceries, and I'm paying for it today. Really, I can't complain. Because of the MS I haven't had a cold or the flu or any other sickness for over six years. My immune system is ALWAYS in overdrive. But thanks for the well wishes everyone. :)

Just a hello from a long time lurker, recent ECF member and lover of Volt. I took the big step off of analogs Sept 2011, with a new volt starter kit in my right hand, and a palm full of sweat in my left. So far I have never looked back. That is HUGE for me since I once smoked up to a pack and a half of nasties a day for ummm.. 30+ years. So far, I haven't had to adopt out my kids, quit my job, kick my dog, rob a Quick-trip and still have my sanity. With some of the money I am saving I think I should buy some stock in chapstick, and bottled water because it seems I am always thirsty and my lips are always chapped, but hey... I am still smiling. :D
