:( not sure can you PM me your email address and I will look into it :)
Why aren't I receiving news letters. I've been a subscriber since October, but have only received two newsletters. I love SI, but I keep missing news and sales. Please pretty please put me on your list.

I think I really confused everyone :p... There have been no changes at all made to the cartos since almost 1 year ago I think May..ish When we removed the hard end caps and made them a little more high voltage friendly. There have been no changes since to any batches...

I vape these everyday... I am lucky enough to go just grab fresh ones and test different shipments.. We have not seen any variances. There can be the rare dud pack but 99% of the time they should be spot on :)

If you feel you might have an issue with a certain pack of cartos just email CS and they will help you out ;)

some other things that might cause issues would be

Tweaks in the liquids used.
batteries need cleaning
The carto may not be making a good contact with the batts (you can just pull the post of the carto down a bit and it will improve)
Thanks for clarifying, Imagine. But I know you're a grape fiend - you've tested the new batch of blanks as well as prefilleds? It was just the blanks that people seem to be having issues with.

...Mind you, I'm not complaining - just trying to help troubleshoot.

First off...got my spiffy black battery with awesome blue LED!!! Yay! Second..question: how long does a bottle of liquid stay "good" for? And how do I store it? I've been carrying it in my purse for the most part...also, been noticing a lack of taste lately Even when freshly topped off--it's the last like two ml of liquid in the bottle, could this be it? Or are the cartridges I've been reusing for two months finally hit their limit? Maybe it's time I throw them out? I haven't cleaned them as I don't know how.. But they are still white. Any help would be much appreciated!!

P.S. also noticing its harder to draw on the cig, almost like theirs blockage somewhere but a) it's a new batt and I cleaned it just to be sure and b) it's a newly filled carto (used).

liquid has a standard life of 1 year.

cool dark places are the best storage.

it could be due to not being shaken often and this is just the end of the bottle...or it could be the carto age or a combo of the 2 ....

or even have a weird taste bud day... sometimes our all day vapes loose their taste to us vapers for a few days..

Also (sorry for rambling! But I hit post and then remember lol) may I make a suggestion imagine? The bottle that the liquid comes in kinda stinks..it's leaky and the cap doesn't screw on right. I'm always getting sticky liquid on my hands! And I notice a good deal winds up in the darn cap if it tips over. Just my opinion though.

Thanks imagine. I never shake the bottle...umm I feel dumb haha. Should I shake it before each use?

Does the carto get really hot, even though you're not getting much action? If so, could be that crud has built up on the heating coil and it's time for a cleaning. That "blockage" might be a crud BB around the coil...dang, I should've taken that picture! Those crud BBs get pretty big and ugly!

...and of course, Imagine comes up with a much simpler answer! :)

overfilling a carto can cause this ...or as cindy said if there is build up on the coil/stomizer inside and yes it is a good idea to shake before use so there is no sediment

If I use the condom method to fill the cartos according to your video on SI's site, how would I overfill the carto? What should I watch out for?

over filling will have 4 possible side effects ...it can be 1 or all 4...

1) leakage from the carto
2) liquid inside gurgling
3) blocked inahle - no vapor - sucking with very little vapor
4) liquid splattering into your mouth

you may also notice the liquid is pooling on the top of the filler...

blowing, shaking or spinning out the excess fixes this ;)

When I dripped more e-liquid into my prefilled cartos that I thought had been used up enough to accept more, I dripped it into the top (not attached to a battery) till I saw iiquid on the top of the filler stuff. When that looked juicy, I blew through the hole. I set it on a kleenex to absorb a little liquid that came out, then waited a while for more, cleaning off the ends with the kleenex, and then first used it on my manual battery, just to be sure. All seemed to be OK. Did I do it right? It seems I did. And when I use the condom method, can I just do the same to be sure of no leaking or overfilling?

yep :) that should work... you can still have it be overfilled though.... as the filler is very absorbent you can usually vape through it though... if it has a stiff draw at first as you vape up the excess it will become easier to draw and you will get more vapor again.
