I keep getting very bad dry hits, i tried less cotton and everything.
My squape isn't the same as it used to be
I have been trying a2.5mm diameter coil maybe that's why.
Will go back to 2 and give it ago.
It's just always burnt taste. Really not happy!

With the W deck I'm using a 2.8mm diameter. Make sure you trim the wick right up against the sides of the deck. Don't let any go down the side juice channels. Also, this is one tank I like better with Japanese cotton over rayon.
Ok let me try that. Also rayon doesn't work very well in the squape for some reason.
I agree. Japanese cotton is better than rayon in the SqR.
However I put the Koh Gen Do in a Rose and yikes! As it swelled my air really got cut down and I couldn't vape it. Had to go back to rayon in that one.
Other than the SqR, I prefer rayon in tanks.
Hey folks. Sorry it's been hectic with Christmas coming, and I just started a new job with a 3hr commute round trip. I should be able to do a build on C'mas and post some pics.
I have to agree, roxy. My Squape wicks are flattening out after a couple of tanks. Can't hold high shoulders with rayon. Also I'm getting better results (no leaking) with my vertical Sophia builds when I replaced rayon with cotton. I used to say that rayon was preferable to cotton in every way. correct that to most ways.
Just a quick question. Has anyone tried the EHPro W deck in their authentic? I can't seem to find a US vendor for the authentic deck with one in stock? If the clone version won't fit I'll have to order from overseas.

The EHPro deck does in fact fit. The quality of the deck seems to be the same as the S deck that was included with the authentic. I'l all built at 1.1 ohms and I must say the vape is awesome.

Well yesterday i went to watch the hobbit.
Set my squape on the side.
After the film, picked up my device and it was ALL wet! It leaked from the air hole everywhere! Full tank of drakes blood lost
Why did this happen?
Before i put it to the side i was vaping it next to the smallest air hole setting. But i always do this.
Any ideas?

Ok so guys i rebuilt the squape after getting some chadster hotwire and some ... cotton.
Amazing! Just how it always used to be! However it didn't last long as later that night it leaked once again!
Went all over the side board. So i cleaned it up etc still leaks sometimes from the air flow control.
Seriously what's going on
I got the vape back but it's leaking so much. Never was it this bad. All i have been doing is wicking differently. I.e cutting the cotton at the edge of the base.

Need a bigger coil for more wick is my guess.
You could also try stuffing some extra cotton into each of the channels separately (without taking it through the coil) to see if this solves the leaking without having to build a new coil. As long as the width of channel is filled with wick from edge to edge it shouldn't leak. A build pic, even a bad one, would be super helpful
If it's not the wicking then a few other things I would look at if this were happening to me:
-Is the vacuum sealed properly?
-Did the replacement base that StattQualm sent you come with an o-ring in it (under the deck)?
-Does this happen with both the stock and aluminum tank sections?
On an unrelated note, sorry for not getting those wicking pics out yet. I tried on Christmas, I really did, but my phone crapped out on me a few days before and the only webcam I have is so old I couldn't get Windows to recognize it (lol ... kinda). But the good news is my new phone is inbound and scheduled to land tomorrow, and I plan on using the build as an excuse to play with its camera

As i cant carry it with me anymore due to it leaking it's at home. I shall post some pics tonight.
It did come with a o ring etc
Need to try the standard tank, as i think my aluminium one is damaged somehow due to the provari issue. Will check it again though.
It's like juice is going through the deck air hole for some reason.
Could it have anything to do with coil position? I have raised it for throat hit.
Also i did pack it with cotton.
I'll post some pics and show you all.
