Official Squape R[eloaded] thread!

I sent an email to them about an hour ago and no reply. Dont look down on me, but I just ordered one from vaperev and ordered the W deck separately from cloud 9. And yeah I didn't see the union jack symbol until after this whole mess happened. My plan right now is to just cancel the order from intaste unfortunately. I didn't have alot of time when I was messing with the intaste order because it was 4:20 in the morning and I had to work at 5am. Prior to this, I was relying on the Google translator on chrome which wasn't working at all.

I suppose my punishment for my lack of attention to detail is paying about 40 or 50 bucks more for the whole set.

Yep, I didn't see that til after this all happened, and promptly felt like an idiot when I realized it was there

Cloud9 takes off the VAT though for non European customers. My total this morning was $192 and some change. So really, it was less than $3 more than I would've paid at VapeRev, and about the same as Vapinart. I doubt you lost $40-50 . It does look like I could've saved about $6 going with Intaste. Oh well, I was worried they'd sell out as quickly as they did in July.

I do still want to order an extra glass tube plus the o ring/post screws, and Vaperev is out of the glass tubes. And I might have looked wrong at Vapinart, but it looks like they sold out of all the accessories.

I kind of want that red tank and afc ring, but I don't need them.

hahaha, it happens. Finally got it though, I saw you had a WTB at the classifieds. Bummed it still came with the S deck as standard, I was hoping the W came as standard.

oh yes the red tank looks awesome, I wanted the blue but as you say and I kept saying in my head I DON`T NEED IT, I need a Nano tank though.

Well mine is on its way from vaperev! W deck will likely take a bit longer to get here. Still no reply from intaste though

It's too bad that you don't get your choice of decks when ordering. I'm sure 90% of the people prefer the wide deck.

Well, that's one way for them to make an extra $20 or so on each sale. Actually I was worried when I ordered mine from Cloud 9, that I could have found a place a bit cheaper for the SQR & the wide deck. I wasn't going to waste time though & maybe lose out on buying one, so I hit the "buy" button. I am so glad that I did.

After I purchased mine I checked VapRev & by the time they added the shipping & the sales tax, it was over $10 more than Cloud 9. Gosh, maybe I should have bought 2 of them from Cloud 9 when I had the chance.

Ok guys. Ready or not, here it comes:
I've received my FastTech Squape Reloaded and it was a royal piece of "S". It conducted everywhere where it should not. And NOT conducting where it should. That Emetal coating is a joke unless it is inside the threads, then it insulates all right. I chased those threads with my Taps to get that Emetal (or whatever it was) out of it.
Long story - short, I decided to re-design the whole thing, treating it as it was made out of conducting material.
First I took care of the 510 connector by drilling it dipper and installing a Delrin Cup to hold the Positive pin. Then I made two new posts a lot thinner then the original were and put Delrin tubes (insulators) over them. My Post screws are now M1.6mm like Kayfun. I also made a Delrin insulator and put it underneath the Positive disk.
No way in hell it is going to short now, it just can't.

Yeah I world prefer to discuss the authentic here. There is a thread comparing the authentic to the clone, but we all mistakes so no harm done! Super excited for mine though

Turns out the sum'b###h CAN flood.
All it takes, is an idiot behind the wheel, who decides that base and tank seems a bit too tight and unscrews it a little - turned one half of the wick 90 degrees, allowing free juice flow through one of the channels
Lesson learned, don't taunt the beast, once it's filled and ready to go

And yay, 2 of the 3 I've ordered have already arrived in Denmark, so it looks like it'll be a nice Monday.

Dropped some serious bones for 3 of those! I'm saving until the new mark bugs gem releases. I've had my eye on the squape reloaded since September so I think I'm going to happy with it as long as it's an improvement over the erlkonigin, which has been just as finicky for me as my kayfun was

They must get a heck of an inventory! Tempted again for a black tank to match my VS. /lol

It still amazes me how much juice and outstanding flavor this device delivers from a gravity feed. Of course that means at least for me that wicking has to be spot on or it leaks. I had to switch to Japanese organic cotton and have some KGD on order.

The way I build it, it's pretty much about cramming as much cotton in it as possible (without messing up the coil), then it vapes absolutely perfect and stays dry as a bone that isn't in water - at least that's how I roll for the time being...

Anything that causes a vacuum loss will make any tank flood. I accidentally unscrewed the tank from the base on my kayfun last week, lol! I meant to take the whole thing off my mod, oops!

Don't jump on AMDTrucking. He accidentally put his post in this thread instead of the clone thread. Big deal. He fixed it once he was aware.

I learned from my clone the SqR wicking is also a tad finicky. You want your wick just a hair past the deck edges. If you cut it right at the edge it can flood. Too much in the vertical channels and it can dry hit. However, its not as finicky as the Erlk I guess. So far though I've had zero issues with the Erlk, but I did have an overnight flood the first week I had the SqR clone.

There's alot less variables wicking the squape from what I've heard. It just looks simple and I like simple

I know.....I just checked this afternoon out of curiosity & saw that they still had the SQR & the Wide Decks in stock. I was SOOOO tempted to buy another one, but hate to spend another shipping fee when I just ordered one yesterday. I think I will wait a bit. Maybe a little bit down the road I might want to get some of those colored tanks, extra o-rings, etc. when I order a 2nd one w/another wide deck. At least then I won't feel too bad about paying for another shipping fee.
