Hi guys, I asked this before, but I don't think anybody noticed my question... Does anybody know where I can get an authentic Squape in the States? I checked all the usual suspects, but it doesn't seem like anybody has it in stock.

Thanks!
Your better off finding a place from the EU that drops VAT tax, you'll save some money with the current exchange.

Places like InTaste will have it to you as fast or faster than stateside places too, lol. Although it sounds like there aren't any places this side of the pond with stock anyways.

http://www.intaste.de/squape-reloaded-selbstwickelverdampfer.html

The VAT will be dropped out once you enter your shipping address. Compare the cost difference when all us said and done

InTaste has had everything to me in 2 business days too, they are great

Thank you very much! I knew about intaste and cloud9, I actually used them in the past and loved them. And yes, with the Euro at its current levels, it makes even more sense. I just wanted to buy the Squape and the SX Mini together, but if I do that it becomes more expensive to buy overseas. No issues, I'll just split the order then.

Thanks again!

And you can also price compare with another reliable EU vendor which I have used which also just got the B deck in stock:

SQuape R[eloaded] - Ematal Deck - D-Dual - Cloud 9 Vaping

:)
Cloud9 always takes an extra 4-8 days to get to the US though, that's the one complaint I have with them. Their shipping is the same or slightly more than InTaste, but takes Atty least 2-3 times longer to get here. Besides that, they are also a great and reliable vendor from across the pond. The pound though, is not in the toilet, and no VAT will will make it a better deal than stateside, I'm going to take aguess that it's cheaper from InTaste.

Either way though, C9 or InTaste, both top notch vendors, can't go wrong.

C9 always has the cool accessories in stock that most other places don't though, which is awesome.

Thank you all! I agree, the British Pound is still where it is, while the Euro is the one who took a bath... Intaste will be cheaper.
I also agree on the point about C9 taking longer, I bought a Kayfun from them and it did take a while.
I'll check the one in the classies, too. Thanks again for the help! As always, this place is priceless when it comes to advice. :toast:

This is what I think is a twisted 28g nickel/28g kanthal 3mm 10 wrap, why because I was bored. All I know I need to be able to replicate it because it works nice! The flask says its .21ohms

I have to say the flavor of this build is blowing me away, it's incredible!

I'm definitely going to pick up a B-deck now. Got 28,29,30, and ribbon tempered nickel OTW from SV and the B looks like it'll be perfect for fitting a nice sized TC coil, plus it's always fun trying out new things.

Not really into duals unless it's an Atty that's designed for or requires them, Aqua or Orchid, so the D-deck never appealed to me. It was always going to be the B...always the B lol

Those 2 notches are where you lay the coil & rod across the deck when seating & securing the coil. It allows the coil to be mounted a bit lower than if they weren't there.

Why the Hell couldn't I figure that out!!! /lol THANK YOU. Makes sense

:)

Time for a NEW diagonal build using those notches and placing the coil about 2MM above the air hole. /lol

Thanks for the heads up on the ECF classifieds for sale Squape. Purchased it! Killer deal!

:)

I wish the notches would have been deeper, they're quite shallow. In fact I was going to ask what you all thought about making them a little deeper. And if so, how would be the best way.

It's not near as easy to coil as the W deck is.

Love Cloud 9, it's just the 15 day wait for delivery is excruciating.

So their was a B Deck Part 4...

composite-FINAL-1.jpg

BINGO! Just the way I like it. THE best flavor and vapor. I'm not touching a thing and lets see what happens after a tank or two.

The dirty details on what I call "THE S Build" You likie this name?

I used the notches with my 3MM screw driver and various other tools in my toolbox. As already said, it's NOT an easy build compared to the W. I think the notches are a "hint" from the Gods as to how close your coil should be to the air hole. Mine sits about 4 MM above it as you can see and I did lower it a little but then if you lower it to much your rod/screw driver gets stuck. I'm not going to push it down any more with my mits because this vape is orgasmic! /lol If you made the notch deeper you would need to figure out how to emetal cote it but maybe one of you geeks has a better idea. It's tricky working with the notches and producing a wrap that works and mine is about 1.3 OHMS. Maybe not a beauty contest winner but it's yummy when it fires. I pealed both sides of my KGD strip and used a little less. Pushed down around the edges of the air hole as you can see. Nice and fluffy.

God I love this place for sharing knowledge to solve real world problems.

If this build holds up then NI200 and I would not exspect any problems given that I think this latest build is spot on. Fingers crossed.

:)

B-Deck, Nano Chimney, Nano Bell Cap are on the way from Cloud9. I grabbed a K4 spares kit and extension glass/chimney kit too, and thank goodness they had everything in stock, lol. No other place did.

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to the B-Deck and nano setup, sounds like it is going to be good. Once all the tempered nickel arrived from SV (everything but the 32, including the ribbon, ROFL) I'll slap a fat .... TC coil in that B-Deck and have at it!!!

Pretty excited, after all the atomizers I've picked up over the past few months, the SqR has remained one of my favorites!!!

That's one of the things I really love about Cloud 9, they usually do have everything you need or want in stock. Where as others don't. And, I usually find things I didn't know I needed too. It's a great place to visit when you're looking to shed a few pounds from your wallet. ;)

It is a leaker when left on its side - if the air holes are pointing down. This is sort of a deal breaker for me. :(

I already vape 10+mL of taxed juice. Worrying about blowing cash on setting stains isn't too appealing. Nor is having to be hypervigilant about how I have it positioned at all times.

When I first got the Squape R in November, I got it with a W deck & its all I used. Initially I had a few leak issues before I figured it out (how it works and why it was happening) & haven't had any issues with leaking since and that was something I really loved about the atty.

Maybe there's a learning curve to prevent the B deck from leaking but I dunno. Maybe I should have filled with more cotton, but it appeared to me to be more than enough. I'll give it another day but if it happens too much more I might give up on it.
-had it leak on me twice, both times resting on my chest when laying down.

Also, as I understand it, you don't want cotton filling the cup to the rim as juice could easily find its was down the air hole and onto whatever its sitting on.
(is there a thread focused on e-juice stain removal? There's gotta be. Could be a potential marketing niche -late night infomercials, etc.).

Instead, I wicked my cotton no higher than the center air port.

Also, I only use KGD (got a lifetime supply for around $30 off amazon) and I only ever peel back the top and bottom layer.

The State of Confusion
Questions:

I seem to get dry hits...W or B decks.

I use KGD cotton in the B deck and RXW for the wick (I've used KGD) same results....

I build a lot of attys and this one has me stumped as to why the dry hits?

The juice is 65/35 PG/VG and Stattqulam recommends 60/40 or greater PG/VG (if it's too thick the liquid passages are too small).

So any thoughts?

I run Smurf through my Squape and I think it's 80 VG with no problems. It's one of the only atty's I have that can handle such thick juice. I was a little surprised it handled it so well.

Are you packing cotton down inside the channel? I wick mine exactly the same way as the first couple pages of this thread says to. Make it like a fluffy bowtie. It seems to really work for me.

I think it was @Phone Guy who said he tried it that way several days ago and he was pleasantly surprised that it worked for him. It could have been someone else, I'm just having a hard time clearing the cobwebs out of my head this morning.

How Long have you had your Squape?
