Just made a great trade, my KayfunV4 for a black SQuapeR and a W deck. Now the family grows to 3.

Think I cracked the DNA40/Ni200 build on it.

Here's my overly detailed technique:

Materials:
-tempered 28 gauge Ni200 from stealth vapes
-a pair of vise grips
-needle nose pliers
-a mandrel, drill bit, or screwdriver of desired diameter of coils. (I used a 3mm screwdriver which was part of one of those common small screwdriver sets everyone has.)

Procedure (with rationale):
1- Clamp 1 end of my length of wire into the vise grips giving a couple inches of slack on the end before I start wrapping. (I do this to ensure the legs wont be bent and will be nice and straight. Bending it to wrap and then try to bend it back/straighten it out can cause some weakness in the wire at the point and cause it to snap there when tightening down).

2- wrap nice close tight contact coils (I haven't done this in weeks, instead I've been making well spaced coils and pressing them together after but this causes the inner diameter of the coils to slacken up, vary and exceed the intended diameter. Making them perfect contact coils ensures they're going to be evenly well spaced throughout later and will maintain their intended inner diameter perfectly).

3- press into squape R wide deck's channels.

4- wrap around each post without overlapping pretty tight under screws to secure.

5- after they're secured, 1 post at a time, loosen up each post completely, pinch the wire end with the needle-nose pliers for added grip, unwrap the leg from the post, tighten it and with tight tension pull around the post at least one full revolution to twice around the post all while as tight as possible and screw post down pretty tight. Then repeat to the other side.
(when tightening them up at this point, the contact coils spread out very nicely)

6- using the smallest flat head screw driver in the generic set, further ensure coils are evenly spaced out as perfect as absolutely possible.

7- now its set up so tight its difficult to remove the bit from the coil so I barely barely barely even begin to start to loosen 1 screw at a time until you can slide and twist the, in my case, 3mm screwdriver out but..!

8- tighten the posts back down before the bit is removed from inside the coil. (If the posts are the slightest bit loose and tightened without bit in the coil, it will contort, shift and be junked) so ensuring the bit remains inside the coil until posts are tight avoids this.

9- pull out the bit/screwdriver from the coil. Admire how absolutely perfect it looks, wick, juice and enjoy.

Also, just to vent for a sec to get something off my chest with other SquapeRs using DNA40/Ni200.

I looked everywhere for a 3mm machine screw to help in making perfect coils. Also, the imperial equivalent is a 3/32" bit by the way.

But because of the way the posts are fixed into the deck, it will only work with left hand or reverse threaded screws.

Unfortunately none exist in this 3mm diameter size. Its SOooo annoying. Hopefully their new deck releases have a 4mm super wide deck with the posts on the other sides of the channel.

Ok, I feel better now.

So, I celebrated payday by ordering 4 W decks for my SQuapes :D

Anything I should look out for when building on these, compared to the S decks, which I've been using so far? Apart from building a larger diameter coil of course ;)

On the S, I build it with most of the coil in the well, legs on top, and just enough cotton to make it a bit hard to pull it through, but without pulling the coil apart, and it's been working very well for me, no leaks or gurgles, right down till the last few drops of liquid.

And any tips on getting the S decks out of the base? I haven't tried, but I heard that they can be a PITA to remove, even though I lubricated the o-ring with plenty of e-liquid before installing it.

I never put my S Deck in, but I haven't had an issue pulling the W, I remove it for a full clean every now and then.

I'm using a 3mm cool (facing down, top of coil just a tiny bit above the deck, when with the screws about, and I lightly fluff and stuff just enough cotton in the channel to prevent flooding, and let a good portion rest above. Sometimes I will tell down the tops a little if needed.

So I've been eying this thing for a while, and when I went to pull the trigger, I can't find it anywhere for the life of me, does anyone know where I can get one online that will ship to an APO, cloud 9 won't ship and everywhere else I look is sold out, any suggestions?
Check places in Europe. I had to buy mine from pipeline.fr mind u it's all in french and even though i speak it it's not fluent. Had to Google translate every page. Was a hassle. In the end i did it and very very happy!

I wonder if Vapinart still has any? Or maybe intaste.de does.

I did see some on ebay last night. I looked at his other items, and he does have quite a few high end mods also that are hard to find. All his negative feedbback was for being slow to ship so at least no one felt he defauded them.

I noticed InTaste was out when I ordered the OriGenny last Thursday, and I know VapeRev is out too, of course
