I rewicking earlier, same 3mm coil, same position. Dry burned a d rewicked it.

Cut my KGD approximately 6mm (the width of 2 3mm screwdrivers) took the outside skin off of the cotton, very thin layers. Super thin. Easily see thru.

I twisted a point to feed the square shaped cotton thru.. Ran the cotton back and forth a few times in the coil. Cut even with the deck, nothing down the side channels.

Fluffed up the edges like a bow tie, as was suggested.

So far so good. vaping at 15 watts.. Juice is different, this is a DIY juice that's either 50/50 or 60/40, I can't remember and I didn't write it on the label.

Of course VapeRev has em up today! I knew this was going to happen but I had to order from Switzerland yesterday & who knows when that'll arrive.
So, I ordered one from VapeRev too, not because I have any interest in more than one, just so I can get one in my hands sooner, hahaha.

I suppose if they do sell out fast I'll have one for sale at the same price.

Wow, VapeRev already sent me a shipping notification with a tracking number. Now that was fast. They're usually really good when it comes to shipments. I'll probably have it on Monday.

I wish I would have read the earlier email they sent me today because it was a notice letting me know they have the nano squip-tips back in stock too. I definitely would have ordered a second with this order if I would have read that damn email. Oh well, for anybody interested, it's awesome.

Vaperev has the B deck and the D deck in stock now at $20 each. I wonder if those decks would work on a clone?

They *might* work in a clone. IIRC earlier in this thread there are a few members who tried using authentic decks with clone attys with varying success. Some clone bases flat out can't fit the authentic decks, others had trouble where even if the parts fit properly they had trouble with getting the clone chimney to feed liquid properly.

ETA: Ordered the B deck. Vaperev got my SQR to me with a quickness, Glad I ended up being lazy last night and didn't order from Aus :p

@Phone Guy: Has the new build on the W deck been good to you, or are you still having issues?
Glad you asked. YES. working great. I've been vaping on rebuildables for over a year now, have build and wicked lots of tanks, heads, coils, etc... It's hard for me to wrap my head around such a minor simple change making this much difference. Obviously the incredibly simple act of FLUFFING THE EDGES INTO A BOWTIE changes the wicking (for me) from not wicking and dry hits to wicking perfectly. No leaking either. (knock on wood)

I have to admit, if this didn't happen to me, I would have written off the advice thinking it wouldn't have worked. Might be time to re-read the erlkonigin thread :)

Incredible! Thank you all.

It's going to be real interesting to see how this new B deck works and wicks.

I truly believe the success I've had with this tank and deck setup has come from the knowledge of this thread and everyone sharing what works and doesn't work. It's saved me a lot of headaches. I have had little issues here and there, but for the most part it's been awesome, and has easily become one of my favorite attys.

Once everyone starts receiving their new B deck, I expect step by step instructions on the best way to coil and wick this thing so I can enjoy it as much as I do my W deck [emoji14] Kidding aside, I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with and how this thing is going to work. I'm thinking I can put a pretty big coil in there with lots of cotton. I just hope it wicks as well as my W deck. :)

It looks like this thing is going to be great with nickel builds. I guess we'll find out in a few days.
