This vaping thing is like any other hobby. The is a learning curve and while you are on the lower slopes you will make a few mistakes.

Continue to read stuff on this forum and you will learn how to spend your money more wisely.

Is it worth the time and effort? You bet! Remember what tobacco does to you and how this new stuff can get you free of it!

Smoking Everywhere will replace your crapped out pieces, from what I've heard.

That's true. I thought my atomizer was burned out (stopped working when I was at work) and I stopped in the mall I bought it from, as it's on my way home from work, and the guy offered to replace it for free. Turns out a noob mistake I was making and he showed me how to get it going properly.

He even gave me a free box of high nic tobacco flavored carts for free for my troubles.

2 weeks later and my SE cigs are still going strong. :thumb:

Ok so far i have wasted money on:
$120 on a smoking everywhere kit ( lasted 1 week before craping out)
and $30 bux on J.C. sample pack ( other than the kona and washing out the droppers and bottles to reuse it was a wast of money) juice was yuck

What have you wasted money on?

I actually think the money spent on the sampler pack was money well spent. I wished I had bought the sampler before I bought whole bottles of juice I didn't like.:)

I also thought that was great deal....If I didnt use those tweezers and other stuff 100 times I never touched it once...I still use the box and bag that came with and have found that some of the flavors that I thought I didnt like, taste different to me now..I think JC sampler was probably the best money I spent....Taste is VERY subjective though

I wouldn't say I'm wasting money so much as investing in my health. Actually, to me, e cigarettes are more like a hobby / obsession. Here is where I've managed to "invest" some of my money:

dse 901 kit $50
dse 801 kit $50
totally wicked Titan PCC kit $100
blu cig starter kit $60
JC sampler kit $30
24 atomizers / 10 batteries / 40 blank cartridges / 10 additional nicquids $240
Case Master Sentinel for traveling $33
TOTAL = $563
Less stress & not dying prematurely = PRICELESS!

& I plan on adding a Jantystick to this list soon.

I've only been vaping for a little over a week - but I plan on vaping as long as I can! What can I say, I love variety.

I figure this is a wise investment considering I share this equipment with my significant other and we each smoked a pack of analogs a day. A pack of analogs in CA is roughly $6 X 2 a day = $360 / mo. So in less than a month and a half I will have drawn even.

Not to mention, with smoking analogs I only got the pleasure of smoking. With vaping I get to buy cases, flavored licquids, cool technological devices and an apparatus that matches my fresh threads when I go out at night. LOL :thumb:

So, I say relax on your purchases. In the long run you will feel better, look better and save $.

Congrats on your decision to stop smoking analogs. It's fun! That's all that important, right?

To your health,

Joe Joe

I have been lucky so far. I bought a super mini starter kit at the beginning of May and a spare atty. Still all going strong. I then got myself a TW platinum 2nd week in may with a spare atty and this is also still working perfectly. Had one of the atts pack up, or so I thought, blew through it, drained it, dropped a couple of drops of liquid in and it has been going strong ever since. I am definitely saving money compared to reular cigs and feeling healthier. I just ordered two more bottles of juice. Was previously smoking 20 a day so just over £160 a month on smoking. Am now spending about £50 on juice, spare attys etc. Will probably buy another couple of batts next month followed by some atts. It is easy to get carried away.

Well... in my search for the 'perfect' vaping device, I bought (in this order) a 901 kit, 801 kit, mini pipe kit, e-cigar kit, Screwdriver, Prodigy (still waiting, of course), and now parts to make my own mod.

I never use the 901 batts, sold the 801 batts, the mini pipe is sitting disassembled in a desk drawer, ditto the e-cigars (I have two tubes), my SD is my go-to (usually with a 901 atty, but I have an 801 adapter that I like to use periodically). The Prodigy will probably retire my SD to that desk drawer. My mod is going to be ugly, bulky, and impractical... but fun and awesome if I can get it to work.

So.... I've wasted a bunch. Add to it the 10 901 attys I bought that won't actually work with the SD...

And the probably 50 or so bottles of juice lying around that I'll never vape because I keep coming up with flavors I like more...

OK... I'm sad now.

Lol Walrus :D

I have a box full of penstyles, minis, attys and batteries, some of them new, and another box of Lorann flavours which I'm probably never going to use, but I'm sure glad for having tried them :)

What went wrong with the cigar? I'm asking because I'm at the cigar-stage now.

I also wasted money on SE... Two units! One for my mother(who hated it) and one for me.. That is what i started with. they were 2.0 versions with the 3sec cutoff that seems more like 2 secs... and i got them from the website because I did not do my research. When the first atty died... I contacted them via their website... Guess what? They never answered. I washed my hands of them. Lesson learned. VERY hard lesson learned. perhaps if i had bought the newer model they would have better customer service. Or maybe a kiosk... but we don't have one here.

Since that time I have the m401 and even though I have spent more than i can afford... I do not feel I have wasted any more money.
