I am sold on a Provari Mini! I have a few shopping questions though...I can't decide what to put on top. I am pretty new to all of this, and only have experience with Blu Cigs and EVODs so far, so am looking for something easy. I would also like it to be pretty (I am a girly girl I know LOL). I will be ordering the Provari Mini in Pink, so would like it to look nice on there. My one other requirement, would be that I can use pretty drip-tips, like the glass ones Teena makes. What would you Provari pros recommend? If you could please include all the stuff I would need (links, what options, any extras, etc) I would TRULY appreciate it as even though I have been reading non-stop, I just can't seem to wrap my head around all the options! Thanks so much in advance! :)

Your easiest options would be to use the ProTank2 that comes with the Provari starter kit. Many folks like them, I'm not a fan personally though. Your second easiest option would be to go with a cartotank. IBT has very nice tanks for a more than reasonable price. You'll just have to master the art of priming carto's to use them, which may seem a little daunting at first, but it's actually really easy. Baditude has an excellent article on his blog about it & you could always just 'fiddle your thingy' ;) if you get an IBT or 3. Both the PT2 & cartotanks will allow you to use the standard 510 tips, so your options are wide open there.

Thanks so much for the speedy reply! I have that link bookmarked! :) I didn't think the Protank 2 would fit 510 driptips?

I really like the IBT tanks...I was looking at placing an order but wasn't sure which options to choose. I know I wan the standard size, but which Cartomizer would you recommend? Would I need more than one? Also, what is an IBTipsy?

Ibtipsy are their drip tips. I personally have 3 ibts in the xl size and am happy. Simple enough design. The one I got that was painted I'm not the biggest fan of. Phiniac has very blingy designs on their tanks and I hear a lot of good things about them. They're more expensive then the ibtanked though and I'm not exactly sure how to even order them at this point. I know I've seen jewels on them (for the girly girl).
The 22mm tank sits flush with a proring and the 19mm tanks sit close with the top of a provari. I like the 22mm with a pro ring look myself.

Great choice!! I'd have to agree with Oz, (this one time) as far as using the Protank 2. Teena's drip tips will fit them. There's so many different delivery systems now. Lots of us use cartomizers and the IBTanked tanks are decently priced and great quality. I use the standard size, the 19mm one will line up with the taper on the ProVari, the 22mm one overhangs the taper. There are beauty rings that get placed over the taper and lines up with the tank so the body and tank look like one straight piece.

IBTipsy are just drip tips that match IBTanked caps colors.

HEY!!! You just disagree with me all the time because you didn't get those photos of me in the shower!

As previously mentioned, the PT2 & cartotanks will all take the 510 tips. The IBTipsy is an aluminum tip; it's just another addon, nothing necessary unless you like it. Apart from deciding between the 19mm & 22mm tanks - as Susan said the 19's are perfect as is, the 22's will work but they look better with a beauty ring - you'll get to choose 1 of 3 different lengths. You can get the shorty tanks, but I don't know off hand which cartos go with those specifically.

I highly recommend the Ikenvape carto's. If you go to their site, click on 'Punched!' on the left hand menu. There's 2 different types, the fusion & the platinum. The only difference is the flange just above the threads (on the Fusion, the Platinum doesn't have the flange). The flange is very nice for use with tanks; it helps to line it up perfectly, without going too far or not far enough when you insert the carto. The 2nd option is LR or SR. That's how many ohms each carto is (Low Resistance or Standard Resistance). If you like a warmer, more cigarette like hit, go with LR. If you like a cooler hit, go with SR. That's all personal preference. The last option is the standard or Mega. This is the length of the carto. If you get the standard sized tank, the standard carto will be a perfect fit. If you choose the XL tanks, you'll need the Mega. You can always put a longer carto in a shorter tank, but not the other way around (the Mega will work fine in a standard tank, but the standard will not work in an XL tank).

I like the XL tanks since you don't have to fill them as often. If you choose to go that route, I'd recommend the 510 Mega Fusion in either SR or LR (depending on if you want a warmer or cooler vape).

If you like the shorter, standard sized tanks, I'd recommend the 510 Fusion in either SR or LR (again, depending on how you like your vape).

Iken often sells out, but put yourself on the email notification list and/or keep an eye on this subforum. You'll hear about it here first, but the email notification is a failsafe. If they're out of the ones you need, the Smok's that IBT sells along with the tanks will get you by, but they're very inconsistent & a lower quality. I've heard Boge makes a good carto that's between the Smok & the Iken, but I haven't personally tried them out.

Edit: I'd also agree with Cob (all the time, not just once) that if you buy the IBT's, the paint job is less than spectacular. I got 1 of my 5 with painted glass & immediately ordered a clear replacement for it. There's plenty of other ways to 'bling' your new Provari, I just wouldn't recommend paying extra for them to decorate the glass. The paint on mine was sloppy & hastily applied, leaving a lot of bubbles. The spirals look good, but I've seen more photos of unevenly painted spirals than I have of good looking ones.

Yeah, what happened to those photos? I really wanted to see the kitty in the shower more though.....

I was going to mention IBTanked painted tanks - since you're getting a pink ProVari, it might be a color that is hard to find the same color accessories. I have a purple one and decided to go with a plain tank with stainless steel caps as I haven't found anything to even compliment it in purple. Not sure if the pink will have the same problem.

Wow!!! Thank you all so much for all the help! I am on lots of different forums (various hobbies) and this one by FAR has been the most welcoming and helpful! I am soooo glad to have found it! :)

Anyways, I think I am going to go ahead and order the Provari Mini now, and see how I like it with the ProTank2....that would be kind of nice, because I can use them also on my EVODs if I need one as a back up so everything would be interchangeable I believe. I do really love the look of the IBTs though, so I am almost positive at some point I will end up with one of them as well at least to try. I do think they have a nicer look on the Provaris also. Thank you all again so much!!!

If you're really set on the cute look carto tanks will give you the most options.

You can find Vivi novas in cute colors. There is also the V-Core. They're both clearomizers.

I'd urge you to start with the pro tank. It's been the best thing for me, for sure.

But I gave up on the cute for great vapes. Put most of that effort into charms and a colored PV that I liked, with some matching tips.

You can also look into the pro ring for the provari which will even out the bevel at the top and make some tanks look less strange in diameter while attached to the Provari.

Where do I find the beauty ring for the provari? I looked on their site and didn't see it. I may be over looking it.
Provape doesn't sell them (yet). There are a few 3rd party online vendors who sell them. Sometime in the next few weeks, IBTanked will be selling them. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ibtanked/497198-ibtpro.html

    Tatroe Mods at CigTechs

    Gr-modders - Gr-Modders

With IBTanked, the Loki Labs ones work really well. Gr-modders work well with RBAs. Haven't tried the Tatroe ones.

I own a black loki labs ring. It restricts the air flow but looks good and does what's advertised. I personally am waiting for ibtankeds ring to come out so I can have the air flow and push my tank all the way down. If you're ordering the protank mini I've read you have to put it onto a protank base. I'm not 100% on this cause I don't have a mini. There is a full kit on provapes site that has a provari, charger, two batteries and a protank 2. That's the route I went when I ordered mine. I vaped on the pt2 for 3 days before my first carto tank arrived. I haven't looked back since then and have 3 ibts for the three juices I vape each day. If you like the protank if say to stick with it. If I'd never tried out cartos I'm sure I'd still be on the protank myself but I'm in love with cartos.
