Well I cut down my calculations for a 50mL to a 10mL bottle, but this would require me to use drops I guess to get the fraction of a mL. There is a post above saying 40 drops per mL but also 20 drops, holy crap, getting a little nervous now. Lol
Another tip. Be sure your drops per ml is correct for whatever applicator you are using. If you're making small test batches, they may call for drops. If you are using these (they come free with Wizard Labs orders)

They are approximately 40 drops per ml. Most recipe apps have the drop/ml set at 20. Make sure you set it accordingly.
You can find pipettes in most pharmacies. And sometimes in the baking supply aisle at Megalo-mart. Meat injector syringes work too. Nice wide tip for thicker components.
Honestly, not sure what all the vets around here do, but I liked the 3ml graduated pipettes. (I'm sure as I move to bigger batches or whatever I'll change my mind about that and I didn't use the little droppers at all) but they have lines on the side for each mL and 1/2mL, which made doing 5ml batches pretty simple.
Depending on how it ends up being marked you might not need to do drops at all.
Let us know how it goes!
When does your mail come in?
So depending on where I get my pipette from, will it indicate how many drops = 1mL or I am going to be playing a guessing game on that?
The 1ml pipettes that I got from Wizard are marked for .25, .5, .75 and 1 ml.
Did you order them, or they came with your liquid? Well I guess I will find out tomorrow and go from there. Lol! If they are marked like that, that would work well for me.
I measure small batches of nic with a 1ml syringe, with a slip fit nose (*not* a luer lock because that traps nic, adding more than you want). I don't use a blunt tip needle for that because then I don't have to worry about estimating what is in the needle.
For 3mg in a 10ml batch, that works out to approximately 0.3ml which is slightly less than 1/3 the full contents and easy to measure accurately. The 1 ml syringes also work well for the flavoring, a 10% flavor being a full 1ml draw for the syringe. For some reason I always use a 22g blunt tip needle for my flavors. Just cuz I always have
When you figure out what you want for a 50ml batch, then larger 3,5 or 10ml syringes come in handy. And a couple 30ml syringes for the PG/VG.
No, I screwed up and assumed 100mg for some reason. You are fineAh! Ok my calculations didn't get that for 3mg of nic. Ha ha. Uh oh. I'm just using what the NicVape website tutorial under the DIY section says to do for calculations and um, my numbers are way different for a 10ml bottle. I bought the 25mg/mL nic. I'm getting 1.2mL of that. Did I screw that up bad?
