Besides durability... The Provari has the most level and stable power band and the chipset uses a boost circuit to allow peak VV within
1 % of that powerband. The characteristics of voltage drop with this unit are superior because the regulation of the power band, the boost circuit, short circuit protection, and voltage regulation all function within an equal bandwidth.
Now, sure those are the technical stats but how that plays well for the vapor... These characteristics make the Provari a set is what you get device. Pair with your favorite tank set-up ( rebuildable or not) ... Once you determine what voltage you like to sit at versus the ohms your coild draws, then, the vape you take at the beginning of your full battery charge will be the same until the end of your battery life without any discernible battery voltage drop in between.
You hear all this hogwash about VW is better than VV... This is Moot as a point, all dc devices run by a power regulation set-up are controlled at the lowest sequential form in voltage because that is how the safety circuit is best protected. Besides in any method of sequential order for voltage vs. Power(wattage)... voltage is part of the chain in determining power and power is an outcome not exactly the starting variable. With a better understanding about exactly what voltage you need to be at versus wattage... you will be more inclined to be a safer vaper that stays within the reasonable margins of electrical output.
I also agree that the store owner did you a favor by dissuading you from the purchase because you are not at the point where you can appreciate or have enough experience to take advantage of what the Provari has to offer, in the first place. I believe he sensed that and knew better than to try to waste time trying to explain everything to you - Besides, he probably got tired of all the cheapos a long time ago and says that to all the customers that walk through the door??
