I fixed 'em! YMMV, but I took a small screwdriver, not eyeglass small, just a small standard screwdriver. I stood the carto thread side up, put the screwdriver on the post and tapped the top of the screwdriver with a small hammer lightly a few times. It drove the post into the carto a bit... enough to allow the threads to catch. Now the cartos screw on all batteries and adapters!

I metered the cartos to be sure there was no change to the ohms before and after, and they didn't change. The ones I've filled work perfectly, just like my older CoolCarts!

YAAAAAY! (I hate it when things don't work properly -- especially things as mission-critical as cartos!:D)

I have the same issue with some cartoz not tightening on my autos or manual. Not sure why but they spin round and round and wont stop but there is a small spot I can stop them and they will vape.. I never bothered bringing it up because they still work for me just have to be carefull not to move it out of that spot..

I noticed the ones that do not tighten are like that on any battery.. When I move to the next carto, its back to normal..

I've had this issue on the last batch of silver cool cart blanks. I just crimp them gently with a pair of needle nose pliers until they are *harder* to screw on. Using only V4L stuff...

I reckon I get all the malfunctioning crap, I had the light blue cool cart blanks that tasted like plastic, prefilleds that last only a couple of puffs, multiple DOA batteries, post too low batteries, work one or two time batteries...lol. Y'all's manufacturers suck, stuff changes too dang much. Both of the v.2 stealths I ordered recently don't work and both had damage on the threading upon arrival... One worked three charges then poof! dead and the other was DOA. Reckon I'll ask for replacements on those...

But when the stuff works, boy is it great :p
