hopefully some of you can help me.I am currently using an ego w/lr atty(batt is slowly dying).I started on the kr808s from v4life a year ago,but didnt like what i experinced with bad pcc charger, batteries not lasting long enough(carto's were good though).Anyway it seems there are better kr808s out there now.is this true or just better carts.I am leaning back towards the 808 series because I do miss the feel of reg. size e cig.
maybe its been posted here before but i been through several threads and cant find none.can someone please clue me in on these "newer"batteries. thanks

The "newer" batts that bloog developed, have a smaller and quicker automatic switch and sensor. This results in very quick and easy draw, no primer puffs needed. This also results in more room in the bat for cells, resulting in longer lasting bats than normal/old 808's. Additionaly, the new bloog bats are actaully regulated at 3.6 volts, none of the others are regulated. they start off at a hight voltage and slowly drop off. Bloogs bats are consistent till they need to be recharged. Oh.. and bloog bats have a nice rubber finish to them, just like Janty's eGo. Very nice.

If you know who Leaford is, or have seen any of his videos, you might consider him one of the founding fathers of modern e-cigs. He still lives in China working closely with the engineers perfecting and developing, working for Bloog.

As far as I have read on ECF, the vendors with the new tech cartomizers are NHaler, Smokeless Image, Elite Vaporworks, Vapor Nine and of course, the original(afaik) Bloog.

It appears that the new technology is being adopted by pretty much everyone so it wouldn't surprise me to find all vendors switching over before too long.

If you are partial to manual batteries (I am), Bloog will be coming out with some, as well as a regulated pass through. They are definitely on my list!

Rob, if you like the 808 size, I do think you will be impressed with the new stuff. Works very well and seems to last me 3-4 hours with moderate vaping. Good luck!

Rob sir V4L has gone a different direction with their technology on newer batts. The king diamond v2's and stealth v2's feature a higher sustained voltage in all my tests, and feature a switch that is equal to that of the regulated batts... The draw imo is better on the V4L batt's... Again, all matter of personal preference....

I haven't had any problems with any of them. I have 3 Bloog batts, 1 Volt, 1 NHaler MF Style and 1 EliteVaporWorks - all improved switch, regulated at 3.6. I love the horizontal coil cartos that all of them have, but Bloog recently made some revisions to improve wicking with VG heavy juices and to not taste burnt on higher voltage pass throughs. I don't have any of the new ones yet, but I definitely plan to get some. You just have to be careful not to run the cartos dry, like all cartos really.

I must say, the lastest normal kr8 batts i have bought, dont require primer puffs... they just go.. so think that kr8 in general have gotten really good.... No matter the chioce, as long as you stay in kr8, youre getting a decent product.. exept for the first edition of smoore 602's.. theire kr8 type was really bad... Ive heard from Pmos that they have put out new ones at only 55 mm that go great..
