older GG items

Nope. Not without some jigging. It's ime of those things I've never brought to the surface publicly as I've read a couple others have trouble. I've kind of just gotten used to it. It's a routine. Fill, close, crack 1/4 turn, lay it down, then spend the first few pulls dry pulling to get the gurgle out, then vape 4-5 good pulls, close mp, immediately reopen mp. vape 4-5 more. Rinse and repeat. Not sure why. I've tried every combo I could think of. Few 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, eko, twik, cotton/hemp, double at coil, Yadi Yadi. Seems cotton hemp works longer. 5-6 pulls maybe. But there is no one setup that I take and vape it through without jiggying it.
Oh sure, I can open it 9 turns and not have to close but then I have to dry pull a couple times to get the gurgle (flood) out.
What's odd? I had two Penelope before. Sold them. Bought two back (needed stealthier at work). All damn 4 same routine. Different juices. Vg, pg, blends of various %. It's one of those "I don't get it" moments.

I feel the same way yankee. It isn't a huge issue for me just something to get used to. I origionally bought the clear window for some testing and noticed the juice down to the wick thing. To be fair the first clear was known to have issues so I got the update and the same thing maybe slightly less though. So I borrowed a set of calipers and measured the 3 tanks internal diameters. The update and the origional SS were identical and the origional cleas just a hair smaller (it's been almost a year so I don't remember the exact measurements). Because the open closing works on both the clear and SS I assume the SS is the same thing although I could be wrong. What I have noticed is if I close air controll a bit or take harder hits this effect is diminished but I don't really like a tight draw.

Either way I still love my Penelope and would love to get another someday.

@yankeebobo. I was the one who bought one of your penelope. In fact I just rebuilt it and am vaping on it right now. 2mm silica doubled up on top, 1.2 ohms, 50pg/50vg and vaping like a dream. I do imeo's tissue on mouthpiece tip and flick to get rid of gurgling after every refill. Mouthpiece open only a crack and no flooding till the next refill.

Exactly it Fright. I vape it a lot but have learned its quirks. I've pretty much given up seeking the solution. I know the workaround.

Yea Justin. I definitely remember. And I'm glad you're not experiencing these issues. As I understand it, not many of us are experiencing this problem. And I'm not sure why some of us do but I've learned I either am doing something wrong or whatnot but my playing works.

I just recoiled with cotton hemp. Had to. Other was leaking badly from flooding. And what's worse? Mp was fully closed.

Since I preordered my Just GG I have been really reading up on all things GG, and I have to say that as impressed as I am with your work, I am more impressed with your friendliness and willingness to make everyone happy. After some 60 days with Ithaka,i fill content with its capasity,versatility, and I like the solid
Classic look of it.
Now I wait for the just GG's to arive and this will be bullet proof in therms of preformenc & look.

Thats good option to have.
I always looked for the GG items but they were not availble when I was looking,so I dont have parts, only for Ithaka.
And I have 8 full of them thats much How I love the Ithaka.
That was until know.
I vaped my first year with provari and Adams,and after the Ithaka came and I saw the built quality
and the feel of it I wanted only GG for it.
To my good luck I found the Just GG threed and now this very good news.
I will stock my self with GG items that will be availble and that I need.
Very intresting fanomena you create,your fans (not the ventilators ha ha) like to collect
The GG items now I understand exactly why.
