I was at Towneast Mall yesterday, and as I was walking past the SE kyosk 499.99 is the price I heard and that the batt would last 8 hours,. AllI saw on the table was a mini batt and a carrying case car charger, wall charger and some carts. I would give this guy 7 days tops before he was discusted and back to cigs with thebsshe was telling him. I stuck around cause I felt obligated to find a way to stop this man from buying into the bs. I acted like I wanted juice, 40$ for 10 mil mind you, and luckily the guy walked off. Too bad I could not catch him to give him advice, but at least he heard me say how crazy the prices were and that much better deals could be found online. I hope he finds his way here. Ok my rant is over, I feel better.

I do that kind of stuff all the time when one of those rip-off vendors pop up at the mall... I go over and look and then break out my mod, and blow them away............lol

That is what made me so sick, it was nothing she was selling. Looked like the smallest KR battery I have ever seen and one of those carrying cases like V4L has, car charger and like 10 cartos. At least it looked like a KR system didnt look like the three piece system I have seen before. Seriously 1 battery that was it.

Thank goodness you were there!!!! It is so difficult being new to all of this. As a heavy smoker, who has had bronchitis, and pneumonia, and not wanting to give up smoking, vaping has done wonders. With so much advice on here, and my new KGO, I am down to only a couple of analogs a day. Little, by little I am learning more and more, and you are all so helpful.

I feel so bad for that man, some of us are so desperate... I know at the time I was.

there's a fairly well equipped tobacconist a few blocks from my house, and they have a lot to offer for those interested in the world of vaping. i go in regularly to giggle.
they sell essence and njoy brand pvs for $120. 5 pack of prefilled cartridges are $20 or $25. they sell 10 ml bottles for $20. there are convenience stores also carrying blu and some other random brand, i should ask about them. it's no wonder whenever i'm discussing price with people they expect an estimate that's pretty out there.

I must be the only person in the history of vaping who didn't get raped, my original pv was made by a company called century 21 I think, or something like that, I got a bat a charger and 7 cartos for under $30, it wasn't highway robbery, and was a nice welcome to vaping, I moved on to an ego with in two weeks, but it didn't scare me away.

It's sad that there is a sucker born every minute, and a scam artist as well.

It's sad when PV's *ARE* life saving devices, and some people try to take advantage of people by marking the price way up. I for one have tried to educate every one of my coworkers about this wonderful device, these wonderful forums, and some great canadian suppliers, so far I've helped 2 people quit smoking and one is half way there (cut down drastically on the cigs), I also have a few other people I will be making orders for soon as well that are excited to try something new.

In Canada there is a program funded by the government that will subsidize some of the cost for NRT items (Champix, Nicorette Gum / Inhaler, Xyban, etc). I would LOVE to see HC start backing PV's as the amazing devices that they are and including them in this program to help out the less fortunate.

Too bad HC is tied in with BT and BP and would rather kill us all slowly on cigarettes and cash in on the tax money than try to actually HELP Canadian citizens get off Tobacco and on to less/non harmful nicotine delivery systems.
