Ok, this is nuts!
I ordered my pv on the 20th after a little over a week of researching e-cigs and talking myself into putting down analogs. And now,...it seems like the only thing I can think about is that damn electronic cigarette I ordered two days ago! It seems like it's been a month!!! lol
Seriously, don't underestimate my NEED to finally get this thing in the mail.
I promised myself I'd quit analogs just a soon as this thing arrives. Next thing on the agenda is to order some back ups.
So, not only can I not WAIT to get this thing and dump the filthy, stinky tobacco habit, but...since yesteday I cannot stand the taste of cigarettes!!! I don't inhale fully like I used to, it tastes like...well, I can't say that here but it's not nice!
Cigarettes never tasted great to me, but I "needed" them and I enjoyed smoking, now....they're just downright disgusting and I didn't even want to stand outside with fiance to smoke.
Is this normal? I'm guessing it's psychological and most likely due to all the reading I've been doing concerning analogs and vaporizers.
I don't know, what do you think?
Ever experienced this?
lol
Thanks guys, just curious.

Thank you both for your replies.
I'm HOPING to get mine tomorrow also (if I can get that lucky!) otherwise I have to wait through Thanksgiving. I don't know if I can survive that LOL Send lucky vibes my way!
Right there with you! Waiting like crazy for mine, while I cough up a lung on these analogs. I can't WAIT for mine to get here (tomorrow!!!)

Welcome to the club, Jes! Yes, it becomes an obsession for a lot of us. Now you understand the concept of "stalking the mailman".

I think cigarettes have been a part of our lives, some for a very long time........so sometimes it's a big change. It's a positive change and your feelings of disgust for the cigs is probably a good thing, whatever the reason.

Keep us posted on how you come along.

Congrats on making the decision to quit analogs! I think that being a tad bit obsessed about vaping is what helped me to get off the analogs. In stead of "I want a cigarette" I now think "I want new juice, I want to try that cartomizer" etc, etc.

It is something fun to tinker with, takes away any urges for a ciggie and keeps you healthy. Enjoy your new hobby and welcome to the ECF!

You'll still cough up a lung and feel like crap for a few days after quitting analogs but it is well worth it. It's working all the tar and other stuff caking up your lungs and sinuses out of your system. trust me I am doing it for the upteenth time.

I tried quitting smoking with the lozenges. But it doesn't give you the "need it now" nictone. Vaping will.

From personal experience and stuff I have read here you might be vaping a ton when you first start but it tends to taper off as time goes by.

IMO it's because you already know from reading the posts how well others are doing. It's a VERY big deal for "us" to actually discover something healther that still gives us the satisfaction we got from analogs. Makes it very easy to lay that pack of stinkys down. Also, it's a new "toy" and we're eager to play with it! I was the same way. I thought, until I vaped, that nothing could replace the good ole coffin nails . . . but it has. wtg!

Hahaha, I felt the exact same way 10 days ago. I could not WAIT for my stuff to get here, I wanted to vape NOW! It has been 8 days for me now that I started vaping and stopped smoking. In that time I had one cigarette the first day, and two cigarettes three days ago. I honestly feel great, and do not want cigarettes at all! The pack is sitting in the glove box of my car in case I change my mind. There were no withdrawal symptoms. The first day I started vaping, it really hurt my throat. The second night I was fine. The smokers cough is pretty much all gone now. Best of luck to you!!!!
